Looking good DJ

Thx hope to make it myself slow but we’ll see

Phill

Ok, we are less than 4 weeks away from the 2007 Nebraska Strongest Man.

We have some awesome goody bags and award and prize packages for the competitors and winners. Also, the raffle for our charity has some great stuff in it. Items such as national restaurant gift cards, MaxMuscle Sports Nutrition gift certificates, assorted t-shirts, supplements, jewelry, lifting gloves, sleeves and belts, powerblocks and stand, books, grippers and much more.

Raffle tickets will only be $1 each or 6 for $5 so bring plenty of cash to help us raise money for Camp CoHoLo, a camp for children ages 6-17 with cancer or a blood disorder. The camp will receive 100% of the raffle money.

Each competitor will receive a goody bag worth over $150 loaded with items such as Titan THP Wrist Wraps, Titan lifting straps, Titan t-shirt, 8-Ball Nutrition t-shirt, 8-Ball Nutrition shaker cup, 8-Ball nutrition supplement samples (20+), Metabolic Diet Powerlifting & Weightlifting book, Olympic Rub ointment, Biofreeze ointment, Truly Huge keychain, VPX Nutritionals NO Shotgun, Cytosport Muscle Milk and Fast Twitch and a contest t-shirt.

Each competitor that finishes in 2nd or 3rd will also receive an Armory Edge Forearm Blaster, Total Performance Sports DVD(Functional Strongman Training for Athletes and Competitors, Truly Huge Book(The Way to Happiness & Common Sense Guide to Better Living), $50 Egg Whites International Gift Certificate, VPX Nutritionals Redline and Metabolic Diet Exersol 3-Part Supplement Program, all totaling over $200.

In addition to receiving all the above, the overall winners of the LW, MW & HW divisions will also receive a 30-day supplement package from 8-Ball Nutrition consisting of (5# protein, 24 protein bars, 40 packets of effervescent creatine, 20 packets of glutamine edge, 30 packets of multi-vitamins, 270ct. of Black Beta Ph responders and 20 packets of Herculin MRF-4), $25 Ironmind Gift Certificate for an IMTUG or Captains of Crush Gripper and a check for $125 making the overall LW, MW & HW total prizes worth over $600.

The Master overall winner will receive all of the above with the exception of the 8-Ball Nutrition 30-day supplement package. Instead of that, they will receive a $150 Dragon Door gift certificate making their prize package worth over $500.

We are very excited to be able to give all this to the competitors and are finalizing up some of the last minute details and preparing for a great show.

Remember to bring some extra spending money to help us hit our goal for Camp CoHoLo.

We just met with Omaha Trans-Video last night at the venue to set up where they are going to film from. They will have two cameras filming the event, one stationary and one roving. They will film every competitor doing every event. After the contest, Vince and I will meet with them and do some final editing to make sure everything looks good.

The contest will be put onto 2 DVD??s and be sold for $25. This will be the total price, no tax. You will be able to pre-order the DVD??s the day of the show. You can pay then or wait and pay later, just fill out a form requesting that you will want one.

Mostly, Omaha Trans-Video needs to know a quantity, so they know what they are looking at as far as production.

All sales will be handled through them as we have nothing to do with the sales, we are just having them come down and film, to provide a service for all the competitors. They have been in business for over 25 years, so we are confident they will put out a quality product.

Also, received more goodies for the bags, prizes & raffle so bring those dollars to help Camp CoHoLo.

Sweat deal DJ just gets better every day

Just got all the raffle items put together and everything looks great. We have over $650 in gift cards from places such as Burger King, Runza, LaMesa Mexican, Papillion Tuffy Auto, Papillion Dairy Queen, Mimi’s Cafe, Joey’s Seafood, MaxMuscle, Culver’s and more.

Also, there is numerous t-shirts, polo shirt, baseball caps, lifting belts, lifting straps and wraps, lifting gloves, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, supplements, books, DVD’s and much more.
We will also be having a separate raffle for a set of Powerblocks with a stand included.

We have between 50-60 items in all that will be raffled off all for $1 a ticket or 6 for $5.
We hope to raise a nice amount for Camp CoHoLo.

Here is where we are as of 7-5-07

Lookin’ good DJ not long now

Hopefully some T-Nation PPL from the area will make the trek to at least watch me get my butt handed to me

Phill

Also, don’t forget to bring your NAS card or remember that you will have to purchase one the day of the show. No card, no show.
Thanks,
D.J.

Just wanted to thank DJ this was a CLASS A event you put on and I am proud to say I was a able to compete in it. THANK YOU

anyone in the area who didnt compete or come see this really missed out

Phill

Thanks Phill, I really appreciate the kind words. I worked my a$$ off for this show, so hopefully it showed. I wanted you guys to have everything.

I thought you, by far, deserved the warrior of the day award. To come back after surgery, and compete in such a short amount of time, that was truly incredible. Especially since I had alot of “bicep” events in there. My hats off to you.

I already have next years entry form done, just tightening up some loose ends and I will get it posted.

Thanks again Phill and outstanding job.
