Conspiracy Theory Guy where are you? I know you have an explanation for this.
I’ve said for three last three years that if the league lets 'em play Miami doesn’t win. Never thought the ref’s would actually ket ‘em play. Maybe they’re doin’ it to “reward” Duncan and Popovich and let them go out on top. It’s nice to watch a pro basketball game without the ref’s marionnetting the outcome. Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they started again and Miami comes back and we hear all summer how LeBron is the only guy to ever will his team from a 3-1 deficit #GOAT!!! Only half joking.

Yes, but you need to explain WHY the league is now (games 3 and 4) now letting them play and not controlling the outcome. Why the sudden change of heart by the league? (to go along with your C.T.)

I just did. Maybe they realize that Duncan and Popovich are on the way out and they’re “rewarding” them (and us) by letting 'em just play ball. Whatever it is, it is fucking awesome to watch Miami look like a bunch of amateurs when they’re not playing 8-on-5. If not for the shady shit of game 2, this series would be over. Awesome.
I don’t buy any of this theory that the league wants such and such team to win. Bottom line is that Miami is a great team. How can they not be with LBJ and Wade on the same roster. There is no reason to be suspicious that they made it to the finals the past four years. There should not be any question that we have the best teams from each conference playing in the finals this year. So far the Spurs have been a better team and like I said all along I expect them to take the series. The Spurs if they win will be legitimate champions just like the Heat were last year.
I do not believe the refs letting them play or not is the deciding factor on whether or not Miami wins. In last years final SAS attempted 158 free throws while MIA attempted 118 free throws. In addition San Antonio had the edge in free throws attempted in both game 6 and game 7 when Miami closed out the series. I know someone can counter and talk about specific calls or differences in style of play. However, no matter what is said in the end of the day the refs did not give Miami anything.
It has been a joy watching the Spurs work this post season and in finals. Miami has the best player, but the Spurs are at great TEAM. They are a great organization. In the finals back to back years with Duncan going for his fifth title and fourth with Parker. In respect how the Spurs built this team through the draft. There is nothing wrong with free agency, but I just prefer the way the Spurs built there team and have much more appreciation for it compared to how the Heat did. Though it may not be easy to convince Lebron to come or have the money to pay him, but it is easy to say “if we get Lebron our team will be good.” It is much harder to find to right pieces like the Spurs did. Much respect to San Antonio.

Throw money in the mix and shit gets progressively shadier the higher the dollar amount climbs. When you’re talking about billions you better believe things are premeditated.
There is only so much the refs can do when a team is getting their ass beat like miami has been the last 2 games. Better believe had those games been close there would have been some bullshit calls.

Yup. Game 2 is a great example. It’s like boxing: don’t leave it to the judges. Go for the ko. I really hope SA closes it out mañana.

Bingo
As much as I dislike James and feel that the NBA just hands him, he truly is a phenomenal player. With that, Miami’s done. Wade should hang 'em up, Bosh needs to come to Houston (if they can’t get Love) and Miami needs to start “rebuilding”. I know that sounds crazy for a team that made FOUR straight Final’s, but there is zero chance they reach another one with this roster. The Spurs made 'em look like a college team. Not sure there’s ever been such a lopsided whooping, at least that I’ve seen.

Who is better than the Heat in the East?
Indiana’s been better 2 out of the last 3 years, and that’s with the big 3 healthy. Wade is DONE. He missed half the season specifically to be rested and ready for the Final’s and he basically put up a goose egg. As it stands, their second best player is damaged goods and Bosh would be better off somewhere else. That leaves James and whoever they snag this off-season to build around. Not exactly championship material.
