NBA 2013/14 Off Season

He has to bebecause of injuries but other guys include Pervis Ellison, Michael Olawakandi, Kwame Brown and Joe Smith deserve special mention. Oh and Andrea Bargnani!

But that is kinda the point. Invest the number 1 pick in a guy who ends up playing 80 games over 3 years then is gone.

In my best Stephan A Smith voice “Kwame Brown is a basketball atrocity!”

Joe Smith was a pretty decent player. Not an all-star or “#1 pick worthy” but he played in the league for a long ass time

Looks like the Heat Monopoly might get bigger. Between Miami and Spurs for old man Oden i hear.

Sidebar. Is Greg Oden the worst number 1 pick bust of all time?
Sam Bowie
Bowie went second. Olajuwon went first, Jordan third. Heard “rigormortis” and a bunch of his other shit. Kendrick Lamar still sucks.

Well Bryant certainly wants D12 to stay

You got your wish WF, Howard is a Rocket!

I would like to see after this next season. Labron James go play a few season with the Lakers and Koby Bryant. He could make him a better guy. And playing for a real team would be good tl

NNNOOOOO!!! As much as I dislike this signing, the word is that part of Howard signing here is the Rockets being able to trade for Josh Smith. They’re gonna have to move Asik (and probably Lin) to get him, but don’t be surprised to see Smith in a Rockets jersey in the near future.

I took this whole article as a giant “fuck off” from Bryant to Howard. And I enjoyed it. Only problem is I knew it was gonna push Howard to Houston.

To celebrate Garnett going to the Nets I bought a long sleeve dri fit warm up!! Got to rep my favorite player’s team. Nets FTW!

If Josh Smtih goes to Houston that team would be bananas! Maybe they could get Rondo somehow…

Asik asked for a trade but Houston doesn’t want to move him

So what do you guys think the Lakers should do?

Finally rebuild? Release Kobe?

Make room for next summer and go hard after Melo.

Fuck no. Melo’s game basically devolves into him backing up, clearing out, dribbling the air out of the ball and forcing up a shit while the other 4 members of his team stand around. I like his ability, but he’s no winner.

They would’ve been better off without Howard last year, and they’ll be better this year.

I think they make a push for Kevin Love and a point guard.

Yeah, I’ve never liked Carmelo Anthony’s game. Too many low % shots and mediocre defense.

I wonder if they’ll tank and just go after Wiggins in the draft.

Though it seems like so many teams are tanking this year so odds are even lower of getting the #1

I would love to see Kobe and Carmelo try to share the ball.

Plus the Lakers defense sucks as is. Adding Melo makes it worse.

Bynum to the Cavs instantly makes them a middle seed in the playoffs. Assuming he’s actually motivated now to earn that max deal he thinks he deserves. Hopefully this whole experience of getting shit offers has humbled him.
