NBA 2011-2012 Season Thread 2

^^the Defending champs should be able to hold onto a 7 point lead with that little time left IMO.

Glad to be back haha

They should have won that game, but the Mavs are defending champs in name only. We lost 6 guys, 5 of them who contributed significantly to last year’s playoff run. Barea, Brewer, Chandler, Stevenson, and even Peja Stojakovic came up big vs. the Lakers. 4 of those guys started at some point, and then there was Caron Butler who sat out the playoffs but was the 2nd best player all season.

Watch knicker/heat or Caps/Rangers…

Easy choice, ill watch the sport that allows players to play.

It boggles my mind that woodson wouldn’t consider toney Douglas as the player to replace shumpert in the starting lineup. They are such similar players…albeit shumpert is a better player but Douglas could still offer similar skills as shumpert. Fields at this point is a waste of a jersey

They’re actually letting them play tonight. Good game so far.

If the knicks would hustle they’d be tied right now going into the half.

Amare may have broke his hand by punching something in frustration after the game

^He apparently punched the glass covering a fire extinguisher. I’m not making this up.

The real question is, now that the protective casing is broken, can the fire extinguisher play point guard for the Knicks?

I read that he punched the actual fire extinguisher itself and some red paint came off on his knuckles. It was the 1st time today he came near any paint.

LOLZ…

The Fire extinguisher has to be younger and quicker than bibby…right?

Well this DAL-OKC game is turning into a blowout

When they first reported that he struck a dense object I wondered if Bibby was OK.

what an idiot.

Even down 0-2, I feel like DAL is a very live 'dog in this series.

(mostly because I see this series going the full seven, but I don’t see OKC continuing to get every bounce (Game1) and make every FT (Game2) and esp not in DAL…

i’m no expert on basketball and the nba, so can someone tell me WHY ron artest is still on the lakers team? or why do the lakers still want ron artest? he’s not consistent, doesn’t score alot and does alot of stupid shit on the court. so why??

anyone think big baby davis is actually doing pretty well too?

Amare’s post game tweet regarding his hand:

“can’t believe I did that. I’m so mad at myself right now that I could punch something…”
