I’ve been seeing a lot of cases online, of guys who have low t levels, and begin trt, only to find that it doesn’t make them feel better. In such cases, we see these guys attempt restart protocols, but unfortunately I have yet to find a case of anyone using hcg and or clomid/nolvadex, that actually worked and got them natural and healthy again.
However, I have seen a few different cases of guys who stopped trt cold turkey, that actually end up with higher numbers after cessation of testosterone. And it got me thinking… this goes back to the idea of the body fighting the disease With the disease. If your naturally producing low levels, and you end up on trt you shut yourself down completely, your starting at zero now. So could you reprogram your brain and body to produce hormones naturally by forcing it to find natural homeostasis?
Obviously this is considerd a risky endeavour because of the risk of permanent shutdown. But before all these pct meds existed, guys were still using testosterone and recovering. Definitely not recommending this to anyone, I’m not here to offer medical advice, However, if there’s anyone who can relate to this or maybe has a personal experience of their own, I’m sure we’d all be interested to hear about it.
No.
If you truely have primary(malfunctioning testis) or secondary(disease of the pituitary or hypothalamus) hypogonadism you will never make a proper level of testosterone.
There is no restart for these boys.
If you are using testosterone as a recreational drug you will shut your natural production down.
You may or may not be able to restart with or without drugs. Its the gamble everyone takes. Do you feel lucky? haha
Well obviously if your primary there’s no other option, I wasn’t talking about these guys. I was referring to guys who end up with low test levels for reasons other than failing testies.
Some guys end up with low levels after taking medication, or bad lifestyle, finasteride use, or reasons like that and don’t actually have clinical hypogonadism, but they go on trt because they feel shitty and believe it’s the only way out. I believe a number of guys who go on trt don’t actually need it. That’s why you see so many threads about guys and failed trt attempts. Obviously bad doctors and bad protocols can be to blame for that, but I’ve seen tons of threads of guys who are perfectly dialed in, and still feel bad.
Then after being on trt, They’re shutdown and spend a year trying to get dialed in, but never do. At this point, granted they were on hcg, they usually do the typical clomid or nolva run. I have yet to find a single case online where someone actually succeeded with this route. Maybe this means, they actually do have true hypogonadism, but why didn’t they feel good dialed in on trt then? There could be a million reasons, but sometimes I think that all these chemicals were adding to the mix can be doing more harm than good. Every time I’ve taken clomid, my liver values shoot through the roof, as does my shbg and estradiol. So I’n theory, im causing two other problems I didn’t have prior to clomid, by ingesting it, while trying to improve testosterone values. Seems like a one step forward, two steps back kind of approach.
A lot of guys start on on TRT, HCG and an AI, two of those can make you feel like pure crap. A lot of guys don’t do well on HCG, it just increases stress, add crashing or knocking your estrogen low and it’s a recipe for disaster.
A lot of guys are passed up on thyroid treatment simply because they are in ranges which we all know is bullshit and a lot of doctors don’t believe in adrenal gland insufficiency.
I agree. A natural restart is always worth trying. Every drug has its good and bad side effects.
I am primary so there is no restart for me. I’ll be sticking myself twice a week for the rest of my life.
@systemlord SystemLord brother You said a lot of GUYS don’t well on HCG? is that HCG all by self Monotherapy? because i am T.R.T with HCG i am doing okay, just wondered man, sounds Stereotype if you saying Most men do well on HCG? HCG is supposed to be a testosterone buffer it adds more Testosterone by Signalling LH and it does help adrenal function i read on research.
I’ve seen polls done on various forums and more than half do better without HCG, some guys go on HCG just to conceive and then go off it. There are a few who have been on TRT for decades (Nelson Vergel/owner of discount labs) and for one reason or another lose libido which HCG restores fully, it’s thought that long term LH deprivation can affect other hormones such as lowering pregnenolone and other upstream hormones.
The reason why many get anxiety after going on TRT is because TRT can deplete magnesium and pregnenolone levels is they are already deficient. Increasing a man’s testosterone back to youthful levels is like stepping on the gas, you’ll burn through magnesium quickly if already deficiency.
SO how do you get your pregnenolone levels back,if you don’t ever supplement Pregnenolone? you said you had terrible Palpitations from it, and not touched the capsules since, how are you restoring your pregnenolone man? @systemlord
Some men either don’t notice a reduction in pregnenolone or it take years for it to drop. Everyone’s biology is unique, I don’t have a pregnenolone or at least I don’t feel it.
I could have a pregnenolone deficiency but I refuse to treat a number, I’ll treat symptoms. I refuse to over supplement simply to be proactive.
People die doing this because they blindly supplement protein when they don’t need it and die because of an unknown disorder. Imagine if I had a heart disorder and pregnenolone increased my heart rate and killed me.
