Can’t believe Franco is getting dissed here. Symmetry, muscle separation, classic v shape, dense muscle and one of the strongest men to boot. He deadlift more than most most “big” powerlifters for fuck’s sake. High skool kids? on this planet ?? I wanna kno their stack lol

Seriously dude, this is a bodybuilding forum, OBVIOUSLY when you talk about someone being bigger than a professional BODYBUILDER, they will be compared by BODYBUILDER criteria. Doesn’t take a fucking genius to figure that out. Now if you wanna go to the powerlifting forum (which I’m assuming you compete in, or plan to compete in) and talk about sheer size and enormously crazy totals and such, or combat sports forum and talk about wrestling, feel free. That’s why we have them.
I don’t consider myself a powerlifter. i consider myself a bodybuilder. i just don’t starve myself in order to have that ripped look. my goal is to be as freaky huge as possible while maintaining a solid phyique. solid, not ripped or shredded. bodybuilding isn’t about starving yourself. that is the competitive aspect of it. Im curious why people always assume im a powerlifter. lol.
Because youre 5 7 280 with the face of the Stay-Puft marshmallow man. What I mean to say is “beacuse you look fat”.
No offense powerlifters. I know not all of you are fat.

Appreciated.
I think natural guys carrying more than 200lbs of fat free mass at 6 foot or below are nonsensically rare below the age of 20 unless they are really damn heavy and still rare above that age unless they are really damn heavy. I grew up around a lot of serious bodybuilders and powerlifters (for which I am eternally grateful) and I don’t know if I ever met a guy carrying more than 240-250lbs of fat free mass at any height, even juiced iron veterans, and certainly none I thought were natural (though there were many I didn’t know well enough to ask so I could be wrong). I have seen 1 guy in my life I really thought could compare to the awesome thick and separated physique of Columbu at the same height and weight and he was still lacking that ridiculous pec separation that Columbu had after 20 years of damn hard and intelligent work, genetics and results like his are rare as hell even with the drugs and training of today.
For the record I am natural, am told I have pretty good genes for lifting heavy shit and just had my bodyfat checked by BIA for a research study and it was 18.9% , to a bodybuilder yeah that’s probably fat as hell but for a powerlifter sitting at 255 at 6,1 I thought it was pretty good. I have no illusions that I would have to lose 50-60+lbs to be in competition shape so I probably would have to compete at sub 200 if I was to switch to bodybuilding and I have been lifting intelligently and hard and eating a fuckton for the past 7 years stopping only for cancer and ligament/muscle tears. Not to be too much of an arrogant fuck but there’s probably only a handful of guys at my entire school, even juiced who are carrying that much lean mass. I think a natural bodybuilder in great competition shape over 200lbs at 6 foot or under is gifted with rare genetics and probably worked harder than hell. I also think while more common a juiced bodybuilder in great competition shape over 200lbs at 6 foot or under is still rare and probably has good genes and a damn hard work ethic. The iron game in whatever discipline is hugely dependent on genetics and yeah, drugs will certainly take you further and make you heavier if you’re smart about it, but they are just another tool you have to decide if you want to use and should be completely researched and ready for if and when you do.
^ My two cents, but then I’m also a powerlifter, only 21 and that’s probably all chock full of my biases. I’ve also never actually done AAS so my opinion is based only on my own research and what I have been told by others on juice. Grain of salt.

ok, you guys are judging by a bodybuilding judging criteria. are smaller guys more imressive looking than a much bigger not as lean guy. now, when i say not as lean, i simply mean, not ripped but still solid. i guess im judging a bit different. do you think the average person cares or notices if someone has 5% bodyfat or 15% bodyfat. doubtful.
they only see what they see. size and power. I never once said a sumo wrestler or a big fat football lineman. i specifically mentioned wrestlers. cause heavyweight wrestlers by and large are mostly big and muscular. of course not all of them. but a good majority are.
This is wrong on so many levels that I don’t know where to start.
Do you realise that competitive IN SHAPE bodybuilders ON STEROIDS start cutting from 110 kg and end up at 78 kg on stage?
5% or 15% is the same? What the fck are you talking about?
Wrestlers at amateur level are juicing like mother****s.Trust me,I know.
Please, try to prepare for the show, then tell us what was your contest weight ,and of course post some pictures so we can see how you look. After that you will realize why Franco fcking Columbu was one of the greatest ever, and why no one can look like that drug free.
Someone who is 5’5 carries way more muscle than someone who is 6’3 if they are both the same weight.
If you are trolling ,good job.If you are serious, you’re idiot.Simple as that.

The term drug free is all but no longer exists. you do realize if you take an aspirin, you’re not natural. how about taking protein powders. well, they are man made, not natural. test boosters, are they natural? If you go to the hospital, given antibiotics, is that natural. nothing is natural and why would anyone want to be natural. nothing in this current world is natural. we get a cold, we take cold medications. are they natural? This isn’t the 1800s anymore. so, what exactly is natural. no juice. Ive already made the determination, nothing is natural. nothing. and i will do and take whatever is necessary to stay at my peak, forever. never losing anything. 90% of the battle lies in your mind.

I fully recognize what the ‘end’ goal is in bodybuilding (see video in profile or earlier in thread). Cosmetic motivation alone will not be adequate to support the ‘long term’ challenge being undertaken. External motivation is powerful, internal motivation, more so!

I am defintely in better shape as Hershal Walker…no doubt, and that still insn’t what I was through my thirties. I could never make it through a serious MMA session with a guy like Couture, and he sure as hell couldn’t survive weight training with me. There may be people with more talent and skill, or better genetics than me, but there is nobody that works harder/smarter than me. At 280 and half my age you would have your hands full.

bahahahahahah. isn’t that like saying brock lesnar is really a light heavyweight in a heavyweight body. thats total bull. and no, you and nobody has me “sized” up. the truth is, im an extremely jacked dude. not bragging, but thats simply the case. i haven’t been training all these years to have a bunch of nobodies, tell me, they have me sized up. get real. even pro bodybuilders aren’t 4% bodyfat all the time. its not healthy to be that ripped. most bodybuilders look far more impressive in the offseason. just my opinion. and you don’t have to compete to be a bodybuilder. nothing special, to this day, the only people i have ever seen bigger than me are the top pro bodybuilders. jay cutler, branch, coleman. i can re define anything i like. what i say goes. its my world, your just living in it. bodybuilding means something different to everyone.
and a little extra fat, makes you alot stronger and alot bigger. obviously, you don’t want to go past a certain point. but show me one guy here bigger than me. anyone. 5’7 at 285lbs. yes, i weighed myself last night. thats ronnie coleman level. true, not as lean, but comeone, im a guy that doesn’t have a gut, at 285lbs, thats fucking impressive as all hell.
