Natural Testosterone Question

im thinking about trying a supplement called methyl vol by est nutrition, only thing is ive heard that it is actually an androstenediol… is this true? i’ve also heard that it takes over your bodys natural testosterone building abilities… i need as much advice as i can get on this… thanks

If you want to naturally boost your testosterone levels go into the T-Nation store and read the article on Alpha Male or TRIBEX Gold.

I havent used the product talked about but if i was you i’d try some Alpha Male before you spend your money on that. Alpha Male is proven and i can speak from experience the stuff works.

I’m 21 and I even get something out of TRIBEX. Alpha Male didn’t seem to do much for me, or at least…I didn’t get the feeling I got from taking TRIBEX; a kind of clarity, vigor, and boldness that I wouldn’t otherwise have. It’s almost like Spike for your attitude and sense of well-being.

I’m trying a product right now called MyogenX, formulated by Anthony Roberts. I plan to post on here eventually the feedback from using it.

I just started this too. The second day. I’ll post as well.

I’m also interested. I have a feeling we’re going to see a few other supplement companies coming out with products containing “Fadogia Agrestis”.

Seems to be the next best LH stimulator. I have heard some propagate that supplements such as TRIBEX do not do what they are said to and this new supplement does, or at least in albino rats. I have read positive feedback from those who have tried MygenX. I just happened upon it while listening to a radio show the other day while in my car driving to a ballgame. So I googled it and found the first product containing fadogia. Seems the active ingredient in TRIBEX has had some great marketing, where this ingredient has not…

I do not think one has proven yet either supplement does what it is said to, except the current product has gotten the hype and some slick marketing to convince people it works even though there is no proof of such. Interesting though that this product has been out as long as it has and has not gone mainstream. I just wonder is if we will see legit lab proof of it’s effects.

Correction… I did not mean the current product having hype and some slick marketing. I was referring to that of the active ingredient in TRIBEX. It has long been reported as having the ability to activate LH in turn raising T levels, although there is no legitimate proof to back those claims. People take what claims they read as the gospel and so goes another product as HMB that was marketed well to be “Anabolic like” but was about as far from the truth as a claim can get. The thing that bothers me is how someone can “market” or use slick wording to get away with pushing a supplement to the public.

AIM OF THE STUDY: The effects of administration of aqueous extract of Fadogia agrestis (Schweinf. Ex Hiern) stem on some testicular function indices of male rats (Rattus norvegicus) and their recovery potentials for 10 days were investigated. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Rats were grouped into four: A, B, C and D where A (the control) received orally 1ml of distilled water (the vehicle), B, C and D (the test groups) received orally on daily basis graded doses of 18, 50 and 100mg/kg body weight of the plant extract, respectively, for 28 days. RESULTS: Compared with the control, extract administration for 28 days at all the doses resulted in significant increase (P<0.05) in percentage testes-body weight ratio, testicular cholesterol, sialic acid, glycogen, acid phosphatase and gamma-glutamyl transferase activities while there was significant decrease (P<0.05) in the activities of testicular alkaline phosphatase, acid phosphatase, glutamate dehydrogenase and concentrations of protein. Recoveries were made by the animals on some of the testicular function indices mainly at 18mg/kg body weight. CONCLUSIONS: The alterations brought about by the aqueous extract of Fadogia agrestis stem are indications of adverse effects on the male rat testicular function and this may adversely affect the functional capacities of the testes. The recovery made at the dose of 18mg/kg body weight as used in folklore medicine suggests that it does not exhibit permanent toxicity at this dose.

I’ve used TRIBEX gold (I’m 21, btw) before and got some good results. Now, most people will you that you don’t need a test booster at my age… but, imo, you can always benefit from more natural test.

I just started supplementing Alpha Male.
