The whole discussion is pretty dumb anyway. I’m not a powerlifter because I haven’t competed in powerlifting. I’m a strongman because I’ve competed in Strongman. The 150lb chubby kid who entered the contest as a joke is a bodybuilder? But the 235lb ripped guy isn’t a bodybuilder, he’s just a fitness geek? Or he’s a bodybuilder but not a powerlifter or a Bodybuilder? Ed Coan isn’t a powerlifter, he’s just a strength geek. Or a retired powerlifter. Or a powerlifting legend. But he still trains and puts up big numbers. Scot Mendelson will one day be just a retired powerlifter/Bodybuilder/bench specialist, but right now he’s a powerlifter? But then again plenty of people say powerlifting is the competiton of squat bench deadlift. So he’s a bench specialist. But he says he’s a powerlifter, doesn’t he? What did Arnold think of himself after he quit bodybuilding? An ex-bodybuilding actor? Even though he still trained to appear the same way after he stopped competing? What if he were to do another bodybuilding comp tomorrow? Would he be a bodybuilder again? Would he have BEEN a bodybuilder for the last 30+ years?
TL;DR - Considering the amount of variables and lack of concrete input by dictionaries: it’s what you actually adhere to that counts, not what someone else’s opinion is. But then again that’s just my opinion.
BTW OP looking jacked, sorry to interrupt your thread.

some new photos, weight has been consistent the past two weeks
OP, how did you managed to build such an impressive physique? what did you do for a diet to lean out so well? whats your routine look like?
Most days go like this
Meal 1 - EAA’s, 3 scoops of whey, 120 grams of oats, 30 grams of chia seeds or 30 grams of vco
Meal 2 - EAA’s
Train
Meal 3 - EAA’S, skinless chicken breast(600-800 grams raw), sweet (300-400 grams cooked) or rice(1 cup cooked)
Meal 4 - EAA’s
Meal 5 - EAA’s, chicken or steak with vegetables
I generally try to hit 350p/200c/70-100f.
I don’t count EAA’s in my protein for the day, always taken 20-30 minutes before the meal.
This is if my day goes perfect, it usually does but depending on the time I train I may fast so I have my first meal 90-120 minutes before I train.
I usually train instinctively doing exercises I feel in the target muscle, I do use meadows like training for back/legs.
great info man, really appreciate it. ive had my fats a lot lower than what you have here, ill see if upping them and cutting some carbs makes a difference. thanks!

Great work OP, obviously leaner too. What does your training look like; do you do a 5-day split, push/pull/legs, etc.?
for the past 3-6 months Ive been doing 6 days a week, as of last week cutting it to 4 times a week(been struggling mentally in the gym).
new split will be
sunday - back and biceps
monday - rest
tuesday - legs
wednesday - off
thursday - chest/shoulders
friday - arms
saturday - off
old split was
sunday - back
monday - chest or shoulders
tuesday - legs
wednesday - chest or shoulders
thursday - back
friday - off
saturday - chest or shoulders
id throw in the odd arm day on a chest or shoulders day. most weeks its would be chest x2 a week then x1 the following week, shoulders would be x1 a week then x2 the following week.
ive done all types of training tbt, once a week, twice a week, 3 day split etc…consistency and intensity are the two key variables and it is why im changing back to 4 days to get some intensity back.

This kid was on MTV’s “Made: I Want to be a Bodybuilder”. He trained for a coupe of months and did a competition. Would you say he is a bodybuilder?
I really don’t get the point of these kind of examples. No, clearly he is not and it is a ridiculous example. He is not remotely in shape.
I mean the likes of Thoughts and Ebomb - neither are that experienced either, but display symmetry size proportion and conditioning in competitions.
I never understand why people feel so insulted about not being called a bodybuilder when they don’t compete. Everyone loves to throw out the “lifestyle” comment but it is disrespectful to guys who diet for 16 weeks and have to diet and train so strictly for so long.
Dude you look awesome. . .and for a natural to boot. . .excellent work considering where you came from–looks like you were fighting genetics to some extent. . .amazing transformation photos from the original!
Honestly, you look great, your shoulders are not super wide, but that’s more an issue with genetics as well and can’t really be remedied.
