NASA Pro Powersports Results

The NASA PRO POWERSPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP was an awesome meet! A total of 44 lifters from 13 different states competed for $18,750.00 in cash from more than 30 different sponsors. The individual cash award($15,000) placing is 1st-15th place. The bonus award money of $3750 was provided by more than 30 different sponsors.

A giant screen was used to display the lifter competition lifts.

The curl competition had 41 lifters, the bench press had 40 lifters, the deadlift had 28 lifters & the total had 28 lifters.

There were no division and no weight class. Individual awards(curl, bp, dl & total) was determined by coefficient.

All first place winners in the curl, bp, dl & total was awarded $1000.00(10 $100 bills) and big long poster check.

Thanks for posting this, I was looking forward to seeing the results. Some impressive lifting, I hope to be able to make it out there in 2009, just gotta get that bench up there :slight_smile: I think this is a good move for PL in general.

Has anybody at NASA thought about moving the strict curl up against the wall like they do in RAW? The numbers go down but it is much easier to judge IMO.
