wow epic fail for the internet. I say let them be fat. Sure, i’m in that “fat” category at the moment, but seeing those fatter than me is more the motivation for me to get buff and slim.
The best part is a lot of these fat women want buff dudes as boyfriends!!
And judging by what I see all over, the cultural rejection that isolated obese women and forced them to slim down has all but vanished. So interestingly, fat men are encouraged to buff up and lean out (which is good) while fat women are given various options.
All is well with the world.

I was a fat kid. Every time I’d try to start some kind of exercise program people would shoot me down, tell me it was pointless, or that I’d hurt myself. I’d try to avoid junk food, but friends and family would push another piece of cake or slice of pizza at me and tell me it was silly for me to try to diet because that’s just how I was. You try to rely on willpower, but when everyone around you is constantly chipping at away at it, when they’re constantly trying to rob you of your self respect, it’s fucking hard.
These motherfuckers, who spread lies that you have to accept being fat, that you’re genetically fat and there’s nothing you can do, and that fat is beautiful, I hate these guys. [/quote]
More and more I get the “your not fat!” response from people who hear im on a diet… im fuckin 304lbs for ffs! Of course im a fat ass… I dont have myself, its a fact and im not happy being this weight so why shouldnt I? “YOUR NOT FAT!!!”
We should have anti fat ad campaigns like we have anti smoking campaigns.

Damn right.
florin, do the world a favor and kill yourself. If we as a society accept fat people that makes it easier to allow it to take a greater hold on our society.
I may be a little thick, but at least I am doing a lot about it.
Barry White, Oliver Norvell Hardy, Jackie Gleasen, Bruddah Iz, Pavarotti, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan…
yeh, the list of “fat worthless people” rolls on ad infinitum. For every idiot screaming for “fat acceptance” we seem to have one at the opposite end of the spectrum.
All is well with the world.

Fat people are a wonder to me. I think they are a miracle of science. I thought studies showed that being obese not only decreases sperm count but also causes ED? How come there are pods of land whales everywhere??

My guess would be that food is their drug of choice and literally replaces sex. I’ve had a couple of good steaks and some good bottles of wine, but sex trumps all that. Even bad sex trumps a good steak.
My size 32 pants got tight after the holiday’s and I got super pissed at myself and pretty much changed my whole routine from waking to bed. So I have no idea how “all of a sudden” someone weighs over 300lbs.
Though one of my coworkers did just house a whole box of thin mints on their own in about 20 minutes…I guess if you do that all the time all of a sudden you weigh 300 lbs…

Ha same here. I had one really bad cheat weekend where I drank and had some really unhealthy food at olive garden and other restaurants, and put on some fat…got pissed at myself and have kind of come at it with new resolve now.
I don’t get how people can overcome that feeling of dissapointment in one’s body image and self to keep piling on the pounds. They like to preach it in schools and such, where you should just “be happy with who your are”…but really, underneath it all, is anyone really happy with being fat?
What’s really awful is that the whole fat acceptance movement is just creating more eating disorders, especially among children.
You have these people preaching about how it’s genetic and exercise and good nutrition WILL NOT make a difference.
What’s a fat teenage girl going to do then? She “knows” that eating right and working out won’t help her right off the bat so why would she try that?
Nope, skip right to starving herself and throwing up her meals and asking her parents for gastric bypass surgery in the 8th grade.
The vast majority of people are never going to accept being fat. Why should they? It’s not fun to wheeze every time you walk fast, or to be denied a seat on a roller coaster because you can’t safely fit.
Shame on those who would create propaganda that damages the lives and health of others to simply mask their own pathetic insecurities. There’s a special place in hell for these people who deep down know better and yet continue to lead others astray to selfishly make themselves feel better.

Childhood obesity is a horrible thing. But people looking for help at NAAFA are just looking for excuses. Or they’re just really, extremely fucking stupid.
I mean, if you abandon your goals because some bullshit website says only 3-5% can reach it you don’t deserve it. It doesn’t stop anyone on here from aiming high, and it shouldn’t. What’s the worst thing that could happen from setting the bar too high? You make a shitload of progress and keep at it because you’re not done yet. The people doing that are the 3%. The people who deserve it.

See, posts like this let me know those fat people aren’t the only ones with body image issues.
You got fat in one weekend, huh?
How many breadsticks does it takes to gain noticeable fat in two days?
Why the hell does the world need a fat acceptance society? It’s not like they are being wiped out any time soon. Whenever I go out I see more and more people who a decade ago may have stood out as being unusually fat, now anything under a 40" waist is svelte.
What amazes me is how fast people can become obese, are they secret pie eating contests held at night?

There better not be, or I’ll be pissed that I missed the invitation.
