Ridiculously good lifts, dude, especially for your age.
First time I checked your pics, I thought my old college roommate got all buffed up after dropping out. I was gonna call him up and ask, but then I noticed your age.
Damn uncanny resemblance.
Keep it up man, I’m following this thread with interest.
Thanks, all of those pics are pretty old I should put up new pics.
I was reading yesterday that the top total for raw powerlifting was 1510 for my age group. Wich isnt all from one guy but I still want to beat it so Il have to work even harder. I will probably have to gym total 1550 at least to get thoselifts in competition.
hey N3wb, what federation you looking to compete in and weightclass? cause im a 165 lb. USAPL lifter and it would be nice to know a fellow federation competitor
I have had a kidney/bladder infection latley or at least it feels like it so I havent been lifting and havent been eating much so I now weigh 256.5 all the same measurements,
Workout
deadlifts + wraps
135 x 1
225 x 1
315 x 1
405 x 1
495 x 1
600 x 0 got it a couple inches past my knees but I SHIT MY FUCKING PANTS at the top of the lift so I stoped and put it down. 550 was harder than that and I think if I kept trying I might have got it.
dumbell bench, I suck at this
25 x 10
50 x 5
90 x 3
110 x 6 PR but weak
incline bench
225 x 9 6 rep PR. very cool.
thats about all I did today.
I hurt my back trying to get 600 its my upper back/rohmroid so Im not woried its the same spot I had hurt efore and it went away on its own.

lol I was at the gym… It wasnt that bad tho I just went to the bathroom.
I once split my pants doing front squats while there were a shit load of people in the gym. I spent another hour at the gym doing legs everyone started but no one said anything. Just lots of talking behind my back…

My left rotator cuff is bothering me. probably from putting so much pressure on my shoulders from the squats.

How much are you free squatting now?
No idea, I know that when I could 450x2 off the box I could hit 455x2 free weight.
But at the time I was used to regular squats and not so much used to box squats.
I dont feel I can free weight squat these numbers tho, seeing how my box squat will be at 600 pretty soon. I would say it would take a couple weeks of regular squating and I could probably get up to these numbers.
1700 total 190lbs more than the highest total in the ADAU and 240lbs more than the highest total in 100% RAW, mind you I will still have 1 year in that age group to keep lifting.
