Ridiculously good lifts, dude, especially for your age.

First time I checked your pics, I thought my old college roommate got all buffed up after dropping out. I was gonna call him up and ask, but then I noticed your age.

Damn uncanny resemblance.

Keep it up man, I’m following this thread with interest.
Thanks, all of those pics are pretty old I should put up new pics.

I was reading yesterday that the top total for raw powerlifting was 1510 for my age group. Wich isnt all from one guy but I still want to beat it so Il have to work even harder. I will probably have to gym total 1550 at least to get thoselifts in competition.

hey N3wb, what federation you looking to compete in and weightclass? cause im a 165 lb. USAPL lifter and it would be nice to know a fellow federation competitor

Il be competeing raw and if Im correct the usapl is equiped lifting but I could be wrong.

I was looking into 100% raw or the ADAU. But they have pointless rules squat stance width and bench grip width etc.

I have had a kidney/bladder infection latley or at least it feels like it so I havent been lifting and havent been eating much so I now weigh 256.5 all the same measurements,

Workout
deadlifts + wraps
135 x 1
225 x 1
315 x 1
405 x 1
495 x 1
600 x 0 got it a couple inches past my knees but I SHIT MY FUCKING PANTS at the top of the lift so I stoped and put it down. 550 was harder than that and I think if I kept trying I might have got it.

dumbell bench, I suck at this
25 x 10
50 x 5
90 x 3
110 x 6 PR but weak

incline bench
225 x 9 6 rep PR. very cool.

thats about all I did today.

I hurt my back trying to get 600 its my upper back/rohmroid so Im not woried its the same spot I had hurt efore and it went away on its own.

Was pretty tired today

Box squats
145 x 3
225 x 2
315 x 1

leg extensions
2 x 30

leg curls
4 x 10

calf raises
3 x 25

barbell cheat curls
95 x 8
135 x 8
135 x 8
135 x 8

short workout.

Well training log has been on here for a year as of 8 days ago so time to sum up this years work

bench 215 - 315 x 5 or 345… gay max
squat 300 - 550 on a box
deadlift 400 - 550, good for 585-600

the 300 squat was without a box and the 550 had knee wraps so its hard to compare.

Weight 200 - 262
height 6,1/2" - 6"1
Waist 40 - 43.25
arms 15.25,16 pumped up - 17.75",18.5" cold.
Legs 25.5" - 29"
calves small - small

The for three weeks before I started I did a squat program that put 50lbs on my squat and deadlift, just thought Id throw that out there.

Got some pics in my profile if anyone wants to see them.

Incline bench
135 x 3
225 x 3
245 x 9 PR
275 x 1 missed 2 PR
225 x 7 feet up in the air

Pulldown
3 x 10

Dip machine
2 x 25

Regular dips
me x 8

pulldown
3 x 10-15

Holy crap!

That could actualy happen.

Never though I would see the day that my bench compared at all to my squat or deadlift.

Btw New goals for the next 12 weeks

600 box squat
635 deadlift
365 pause bench.

270lbs 42" waist.

So 40ish on my pause bench
50 on my box squat
and 40+ on my deadlift
gain 10lbs and lose 1" off my waist,

Now theres some hard ass goals!

box squats + belt
135 x 3 pants ripped down the center
225 x 3 ripped more
315 x 2 ripped as fuck
405 x 2
500 x 5 2 rep PR I pants ripped all the way from the back to the very front.

leg extensions
2 x 30

leg curls
3 x 15

calf raises
3 x 25

curls
8 x 85
8 x 105
8 x 125
8 x 145 PR?

My left rotator cuff is bothering me. probably from putting so much pressure on my shoulders from the squats.

great lifting man. huge squats

How much are you free squatting now?
fightingtiger wrote:

No idea, I know that when I could 450x2 off the box I could hit 455x2 free weight.

But at the time I was used to regular squats and not so much used to box squats.

I dont feel I can free weight squat these numbers tho, seeing how my box squat will be at 600 pretty soon. I would say it would take a couple weeks of regular squating and I could probably get up to these numbers.

Couldnt say for sure tho

Thanks,

I need to stop worying about getting injured or Im going to make shity progress this year

I have been doing alot of thinking. And I dont want to slow my self down by setting my standards to low.

So this years goals are going to make powerlifting history…

300 lb body weight same waist size as now.
405 pause bench
700 deadlift
700 box squat

Competition numbers
380 pause bench
670 deadlift
650 squat

1700 total 190lbs more than the highest total in the ADAU and 240lbs more than the highest total in 100% RAW, mind you I will still have 1 year in that age group to keep lifting.
