I ended the all liquid after 21 days. I will take 1 week to transition to normal healthy eating again. It did go well, cravings are way down thats the biggest long term benefit i think. I was over ambitious with the training (its my first time on such a low cal diet) and i think i may have a bit too much CNS fatigue. In the end I lost 14 lbs in 21 days. I was careful not to lose too fast when i felt weight was dropping too fast i ate a handful of raw nuts for the calories in addition to my daily 5 shakes. Other than that I followed the diet as Shugart said. It really worked well. Hope this post is encouraging to those who are thinking of tryin. Its challenging but not as hard as it sounds at first!

thanks phil. Strength did drop a bit. In fact in the last week it dropped ALOT. but it felt like the CNS “the weight is crushing me” kind of problem, not really due to the low cals. Full oly back squat was 200 to start, but at the last squating session oh man 165 felt heavy!!

Bench pressing dropped from 140 to 130 feeling heavy

Deadlifting dropped from 215 to about 205 feeling heavy

Power clenas dropped from 110 to 100 feling heavy…

I think the heavy feeling will go away after i rest:)

It will be interesting to see if the strength comes back ASAP like you hope and the leanness stays. Good indicator of very little muscle loss keeping strength.
