Like the subject says my room mate smokes in the house - we have no air filters and she does not opent the windows. When she smokes I leave the room but other than that there is not much that I can do. How much could this actually affect or am I just being a bit too paranoid? should I be considering leaving the house when she smokes or is leaving the room enough?
Ask her to smoke outside.
Sounds like paranoia. If it bothers you that much leave the room at your convenience. Other than that, try to concetrate on it less. It is most likley a psychological thing.
neither pot nor cigs would probably affect your training results if your arent sticking around in the room. But man if i were you i would have her open the windows or you are gonna have one stinky room.
I’d be more concerned with my long term health than my training results in this situation. Second hand smoke is a serious health issue. Even with her opening windows and you leaving the room, I’m sure you are taking in some of her smoke. I’m not saying you are going to drop over dead from that little bit you take in, but why take in any of it? It’s her bad habit, not yours, so I’d change my environment if I were you.
Dude, that sucks! I couldn’t live like that. Many of my family members and friends smoke. And the rule has always been “no smoking in the house.” This at least saves you while being inside. Like others said, second-hand smoke is a serious health issue. Whether it will make an immediate impact on your training results may be hard to say. Obviously, if you are breathing it in everyday, you’re going to have the lungs of a smoker. And that WOULD affect your training. I’d definitely have her smoke outside only. That’s a horrible situation to be in.
That’s one reason I hate going to bars and clubs. By the time I leave, my hair, clothes and body smell like smoke. And I feel like shit for breathing it in! I have a sign in my room that says the following. Maybe you should make a copy and post it:
THANK YOU FOR NOT SMOKING! Cigarette smoke is the residue of your pleasure. It contaiminates my hair and clothes. THIS IS WITHOUT MY CONSENT. My pleasure is having a beer now and then. The residue of my pleasure is urine. Would you be annoyed if I stood on a chair and pissed on your hair and clothes without your consent?
So - from paranoid to piss on her. lol. Thanks guys for the advice - I would ask her to go outside only problem is its her house and Im just a renter. So I cant really tell her to get out of her own house. Maybe Ill just piss on her - thatll teach her.
As long as she gives you a blowjob after each cigarette you’ll be fine. Seriously, it might be a minor pain in the ass but people got plenty large while living in homes that had smokers in them or were heated by a wood burning appliance of some sort. I still think the blowjob angle is a good one though.
