Thanks man, I really appreciate it. PMed you a little while ago

I keep DOH until I feel grip weakening, then I switch to mixed grip, which is usually my top set. In my vid today, those were mixed, but I think everything ramped before that was DOH
I’m liking this log, I need someone to compete with anyways haha.

Haha, thanks man. Leadben and I have a little bench competition right now if you want to hop on. It’s a race to 275 bench (I’m gonna win so it really doesn’t matter if you join or not ;))

You ever tried playing with the width of your grip on bench? If you’re anything like me and have the wingspan of a condor (Mine is around 6’6), widening your grip out a couple inches can do some serious damage to your ROM.
I recently got the recommendation from a couple powerlifters and it helped put almost 20 pounds on my bench since last week.
To give you an idea of what i’m taking about, i adjusted my grip from having my pinkie fingers just inside the rings on the knurling to putting my ring finger on the rings of the knurling.
(Not that i’m trying to help you bench any more than me
or anything)
Latest workout looks good man. Way to work for those reps in the video! Keep it up brotha.

NOTES: Took a minute or two to walk down the stairs without falling. I switched grips on squats today to a thumbless grip, rather than the wrap around. It helped a ton to keep elbows tucked in fixed my leaning forward problem. Squats are going to be climbing very fast! Depth was a bit off but I’ll work on it

Yeah I actually have had people comment on my grip recently lol. I’ll try widening it out a bit next time and see what happens. Long lanky limbs FTL lol

How do you like CGBP’s? Debating on those or just flat DB bench for my 5/3/1 military press day. Great lifting as usual brotha!

Thanks PB!
Well I do CGBP for triceps. If you’re looking to hit an emphasis on chest, then I’d stick with Incline/Flat DB. When I did 5/3/1, I did CGBP on Military Press day, and then did Incline DB on Bench Press day
Yeah, I think CGBP will be good for me on my MP days. Didnt even think about doing Incline DB bench on Bench days, good call. For bench days I think I have a pretty good setup with Bench, Dips, DB Rows.
By the way, the latest squat video you put up yesterday looks alot better as far as getting the elbows down and keeping the chest up. Nice job on that.

Thanks man, just eating a BUNCH lol
It boggles my tiny mind at how people can maintain more than one log lol (if BOI counts as a log). I guess I’m hopping on board with that bench race, though with so many threads, I think I’m going to have trouble keeping track lol.
NICE on that 405 dead man!!! Howd u like it with the belt compared to no belt? Those farmers are impressive as well!
