Workout went well. Felt weaker at the start, but tightened my setup and made it happen. I’ve been playing around with my stance on bench, bringing my feet out in front and wider to get my feet flat. Feels different and a little weaker so I changed back tonight. Good workout though and my dad said the sets looked fast, otherwise I would have stopped earlier.

Wow this was a tough one. I realized I’m not conditioned anymore for heavy 5s, but hit a solid PR which puts my “projected” max ~390. At the begining of this workout I felt a little tired, but took some caffine drink and amped up with some music to get through it. Workout took about an hour after the warm-up.

Cut it a little short on some exercises so I could save some for tomorrow. Should have went for 255x3 on bench, but chose 245 instead. I’ve been doing that all week, having a hard time guaging my RPE’s. My dad says I have more in me because it moves fast, but damn does it feel heavy. So trail and error, I’ll get it down soon enough.

1,100 pounds!!! PRs on everything. Felt tired at the start of the workout, but caffine helped me out. The 385 on squat was a go for broke set and it actually felt better than 375. The 290 was the same way, I didn’t actually think I could get it, but wanted to see where I got stuck. I really don’t know how I pushed through it. The DL was just so I could hit 1100 even. Back rounded out, but I pulled until it moved. I love that feeling. I’m so amped right now I don’t think I’ll come down for a few days. So here’s the vid:

After this I gave up. I about passed out after the pause DLs and squats were killin me. Next week should be interesting. Had my 1rm videos analyzed for force curve and the results show exactly where my weak points are. Now it’s time to fix the weak points.

Did some curls between sets of bench and tricep extensions. Lots of volume tonight, that’s what I like about fatigue percents; some days are hitting the top set and moving on, others go on forever. I didn’t feel like the benching was ever going to end tonight, 40 total reps at 70-78% is pretty good to me.
