Assange is an sjw commie. Clinton was an obvious symbol of American imperialism so she was someone he would personally despise. Trump was a wildcard that had no history of global interventionism so it’s obvious why he picked sides. Clinton had to lose.
And if anyone believes he is all about freedom, they would be wrong.
Everyone knows innocents die in war. They just got to watch one instance of it on video.
Everyone knows the DNC and certain media outlets work together for common goals. They just got specific smoking gun examples.
I don’t need WikiLeaks or Assange to tell me it’s raining. I also don’t want to live in their version of utopia.
Nor do I. I don’t know the jurisprudence behind leaking classified information as a “journalist” and where protected speech begins and ends in this context. I’m sure they’ll try to throw any book they can at him.
I also have a hard time feeling bad for organizations that do things in the dark being harmed when you shine a light on the situation. Even if that’s my country. Nobody is 100% innocent.

Lol. So the former Wikileaks employee claimed they didn’t get anything on Trump. Meaning whoever was feeding him didn’t give him that.
I find it interesting that anyone, anywhere would call information “North Korea Bashing” outside of NK itself. It’s literally the most totalitarian country on earth. Does he hate the West that much or support Communism that hard?

What do you think is really going on, is Wikileaks some sort of intelligence operation? I read a few things suggesting that, but nothing really conclusive. Either way, the whole story with Snowden doesn’t add up at all and he did work for the CIA. That was the same story as William Cooper, “hey, you seem like a nice guy, why don’t you have a look at all our top secret files”. Trump, Russia, and Israel have so far escape scrutiny when you would expect there to be a ton of stuff on them.
The US government has some “questionable” practices under its belt, like wiping out entire bloodlines of enemies, but Russias govt. practices just flat out include killing journalists. I’m betting wiki leaks just kinda knows intuitively that they better not mess with Russia.
I’m surprised that at this point they don’t call ahead to confirm with journalists that they have an appointment to die at x time on y date.
Well, around 2010 Assange seemed at least mildly ambivalent towards Russia - WikiLeaks even signed a partnership agreement with Novaya Gazeta, basically the only semi-independent newspaper in Russia (incidentally, WikiLeaks never delivered anything to Gazeta because the y became Kremlin assets).
It all changed with Assange’s voluntary confinement in the embassy - first he got a talk show on RT and then a string of high profile Russian spooks started visiting him regularly. That’s typical asset cultivation.
So you’re a vain, egotistical man with delusions of grandeur confined to what is basically a stuffy office for months, when suddenly your new found “friends” offer you a chance to strike back against all those who wronged you. Taking the presidency away from that shrill bitch that took your alternative celebrity lifestyle away from you - with everybody knowing you were the deciding factor. That would be something, wouldn’t it?

Also the Israelis (Netanyahu in particular) felt they had nothing to be concerned about with Wikileaks, which in itself is a surprise. Then combine that with Trump’s ultra-nationalist Zionism plus alleged Russian meddling…

While we will never know if those leaks were “the” deciding factor (Clinton was such a horrible candidate and choice)…it sure took those people who were “on-the-fence” off of it…and helped…emphasize HELPED propel Trump to the White House.
