My Longevity Diet Changes/Mods

That too

I’m 10 years older, but I get something similar. I think it’s mostly because:

  1. I shave my head, so have no typical receding hairline or graying
  2. I have stayed low body fat and trim, so avoided the typical middle aged bulge around the middle
  3. I train not only for strength but also speed and “spryness”, so I move like a much younger person and still compete well in sports and crossfit.

Personally, I think this is the best you can do and still have a normal and fun life. That said, I don’t really have desire to look 25, but to look like a strong, fit adult man.

I think this is important too.

I enrolled my 4 year old (now 5) in taekwondo and decided to join with her, just for fun and to go through the belt progression together.

It has been fun, but the greatest benefits so far have been increased mobility/flexibility. It is explosive in nature but not in an overly demanding way.

It was embarrassing at first, I looked like a drunk rhinoceros with a kick height around hip level, but I can kick another 6’1” guy in the face with speed now.

To be fair, I am usually pretty beat up and inflamed between Westside conjugate sessions.

Same. Adopted and never knew anything about my birth family. 58 now and married to a woman whose family typically makes it into the 90s … :crossed_fingers:t4:

I’m picking up “creepy guy in the club who dosen’t realize he’s too old to be there” vibes.

There were just too many of my families older generation that died from stuff related to alcoholism to get to any naturally occurring diseases like cancer.

Like with my dad, alcohol and cancer were neck & neck. Photo finish if there ever was one. Mom from suicide, and then her history was lost in the shuffle.

My wife was taken from her birth father when she was very young, only to reunite briefly before his death. And her mom acts like they just popped out of a vacuum at her generation. :man_shrugging:t2:.

And Nobody went to doctors for check ups because “they just look for stuff thats wrong.”. Well, no shit!!!

so the average landwhale female in the US still lives to a shocking 81. but the average Japanese or Chinese Hong Kong makes 88! that’s insane

I know one guy who raved on and on about how burning yourself out and “hard work” was so amazing. died at 64 and didn’t even get to enjoy his retirement. People in the west are so dumb its incredible O__O

“to old” is just a social construct that idiots prop up because they don’t like seeing others have fun

that’s pretty typical for anybody who adopts a Western diet and stress addicted lifestyle. why do you think the countries with the longest average lifespan just “happen” to be Blue Zone countries that aren’t Westernized whatsoever?

Top 5 are: Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, French Polynesia, and Switzerland.

None are Anglo-Western countries.

LMAO. I love how “on edge” everybody is these days where the tiniest political related comment send them into a PMS rage. Congrats, you win pussy of the year reward

So does your mother, but for different reasons.

Award presented to her by BLM!!!

I wonder how quality of life differs post 60 for each.

Also curious how medication lists compare.

Ok, have fun at the club. I’m just going to enjoy my craftmatic adjustable bed and drink soup.

We get it, Communists outlawed humour, satire, and fun. Calm down sugartits.

Careful with them edges

Lol… you rube. Blue Zones have been debunked.

Whilst I don’t disagree with your post, at all, I wasn’t spending much time in the US back then. I think she’s just cruel and abusive, is my main point. But! She also has poor taste in men.

Well the first man in US to unofficially press 500# overhead is over 80 now!

He’s still eating steaks, not sure if he’s still drinking beer, he was last year.

Does this mean I can too?

The other 500# presser died at 69 from heart issues. Also a steak and eggs guy.

ok Boomer.

imagine being 55+ and “your mom” being the best comeback you can think of. what are you, 15?
