So today was a pretty awesome day, considering I’ve wanted to do nothing but hibernate the whole time. I’ll put training first, even tho it came last, so youse don’t have to read too far if you dun wanna.

then I did some db single leg deadlifts, which I also taped to see how I did. honestly. I’ll not put the camera on a bench for those anymore. all I can see is mah legs!
then lat pulldown and cg seated cable rows sounded fun. so I did those. I should have pressed something. I didnt feel like it. so i left.
WTF with the low numbers, you ask? I decided snatch grip deadlift would be fun. With no Jim around to coach me. Yeah, I’m that smart. My grip started giving out around rep 4 of the second 155, thought I’d just psych myself into crazy grip woman. bhah! riiight. I may not have use of my pinky and ring fingers tomorrow for rock climbing. yet another good idea of mine.
which will give me a lovely segue into the start of my lovely day.
made it to 8am class on time, check. went to the potential new boss’s office for a quick meeting, left an hour and 45 min later. He’s that cool. He thinks I’m that cool. We’re pretty fucked up, apparently. He was a swimmer thru college, and encourages my inappropriate verbal diarrhea. He wants to give me extra classes so I can help teach the class I’m taking. Assuming a few things fall into place, I’d get paid for this shit. It’d be a paycut from what I’m getting now, but if I can get more hours and it’s less stress… I’m all about that. Those last two points need to be covered yet, and they will be next week.
So I get home, eat, quick nap, get up to work on a project for my 6pm class that i’ve put off for 3 weeks. I gave myself 1 hour and 30min to do it. I got it done. Made it to my 4pm class on time. bc of presentations, I had a few minutes to study for our test. On which I received a 94%.
My 4pm class got out early enough to allow me to go to subway. (12inch roasted chicken breast on wheat. double meat, provolone. toasted. 4 handfulls of spinach, cucumber, onion, salt+pepper, honey mustard. 1 bag original sunchips, 2 white chocolate and macadamia nut cookies. lemonade.) The lady customer in front of me got bitchy with the girl making subs bc the flat ends of her bread were not touching each other. think >> instead of <>. So, I took the opportunity to get bitchy with her. I’m not sure if she had actually left the store when i said, “The LAST thing that fat ass needs is more bread!”
I got back in time for my 6pm class, who doesn’t mind if I eat while she’s lecturing. (Lemonade, 1/2 sub and sides in class, plus 1L water and 8g fish oil.) I like this class. I have groupies. I’ve named them Alfonso, Bob, Milton, Hey You. Alfonso, Bob, and Hey You are women.
Then I lifted. You know that part already. I’m tired. Gonna eat the other 1/2 of my sub and poke around the other logs.

Ok, attempting videos from last night. Didn’t train today, but I had rock climbing for about an hour and a half. A few notes on that.
DO NOT TRAIN ON THURSDAYS! if at all, before my 8am class (vomit), or deload only. for fucks sake between the grip (new deadlift night before rock climbing? I’ve had better ideas), and the general fuckwadery feeling, I’d rather go in prepared. There were a few times I just let go of the wall. Turns out, Dave had the great idea of starting me off on the most difficult of the 3 panels. 'sok, my ego is big enough to withstand the hit.
I need to practice tying the required knots. No sense in needing someone else to tie me in all the time, and i’d rather not die because I fucked up and fell 30 feet to the hard gym floor.
Vibrams aren’t necessarily the best shoes. I unknowingly bought some rock climbing shoes a couple years ago, because they looked funky and they were on clearance. Turns out they may be too big as far as “real” climbing shoes go, but I’ll do whatever to get better at this
remember to shave if i’m gonna wear my capri athletic pants. I noticed the fur on my way to school, and didn’t have time to change. no one commented, but there was a lot of staring at my feet while i was on the floor.
i need to work on my grip. specifically, my fingertips. like whoa.

I’ve been trying to think of a motto for several years that isn’t “No seriously”. Nothing else is quite as inclusive.
the last entertaining stories I had were these: ywf pulls down her pants and pisses in one of the chairs. not being funny, completely convinced she was in the bathroom.
drunk guy gets robbed and dumped at the club. later, they find out one of his friends is inside, and that’s how he’s sposed to get home now. in the meantime, he was drunk enough to bounce off of both walls in the foyer, in an attempt to walk straight.
after jim takes him outside and tells him to sit down and wait till he feels better, guy pops up like the gopher in caddyshack and runs toward the building. not like a normal run, like one of the komodo dragons from the discovery channel.
after he runs “straight” into the side of the building and slides down to the pavement, he bounces back up, gumby style, and pinballs himself around the parking lot where 2 of the 5 security guys have to restrain him and get the most important piece of info out of him… that his friend inside is sposed to take him home. friend didnt wanna leave yet, though. what a guy.
I’ll take those when it starts to get icier and snowy-er. I made it today in exactly 4 hours and I had stopped once… mapquest says its sposed to take me 4 hours and 15 min. muahahaha.

So… I made CBear forgo her 531 squat day to do a conditioning circuit with me… it was as follows:
(each exercise done for 12 reps)
Barbell Back Squat using 95 lbs
Pushup w/ Body weight
Jump Lunges with Body Weight
Face Pulls with 42/5 lbs
Lateral Raises with 15 lb DB’s
Rest 3 min, repeat 2 more times
PUKE!
OK… so we didn’t puke, but we almost did. There was supposed to be another circuit performed after this one, but we opted out since we spent 30-45 min warming up and dicking around…
