My Left Shoe

It looks fun in here. I’ve never been a beer person, but if you happen to have scotch I’ll be a happy camper.
And oh god pie. It’s apple pie time, and I love good apples, the real kind that don’t have all the fragrance bred out of them. I will take you up on that, Chrys.

Whoa, the party has really started over here!

That dog crap story is HILARIOUS! It sounds like something my dad would do. Actually I think he has, BUT he wasn’t as clever as you to put the poo through the mail slot. He just left it on their door mat. After reading that, I think you and my dad would get a long quite well. Also, we have a fridge full of beer and he always makes steak or seafood (ahh, I wish I still lived at home! ha). So, yeah, let me know if you ever make it to West Virginia! I promise we wear shoes and we have a big dog.

The Macallan is awesome stuff - too bad my head doesn’t allow even a sip anymore without kicking off a headache approaching migraine levels.

Speaking of trips, are you and your crew going to be at any of the upcoming PL meets in c-bus?

This is the easiest way: http://www.powerliftingwatch.com/node/4421

CBear, there is a small one coming up in a few weeks, and the Pro Am is in February this year (I just had to look that one up). Both are held at the same place as the Iron House meet.

Oo American Open December 1 in Denver. I’m there! (watching :))

well well well. Looks like I’ll be goin to a meet or two in cbus…

HELLOOOO! those willing to make the trip, i’ll save ya a seat.

training:

Still deload week, and even tho I’m still dealing with the aftermath of a 3 day allergy attack, (im such a hardass. allergies put me down for a few days.) I went to the gym to do some fun/light/random stuff.

**Single Leg deadlifts: havent done these before. thought I’d give em a try. my form may have been wonky, but i felt them a lot in my lower back. stabilization? dunno. didnt get any videos.

6 reps each side each set, dumbells: 50, 50, 50, 60, 70lbs.

**sumo rack pulls: haven’t done em in awhile. lockout felt WEIRD. cant pinpoint why.

7-10 reps each set, barbell, 95, 115, 125, 135, 155, 175, 175.

**weighted pullups, med grip: another first. I like em.

+10lbs, 5, 5, 4.

**glute ham raise on the lat pull down: been awhile. catching a trend? i dunno.

bodyweight, 6, 3, 3.

**Hanging leg raises, knees to chest: ya i do these a lot. I like em.

+20lb dumbell, 8, 8, 8.

then I left.

Feels good. Oh and raspberries were 1.50 a container at the store!! hell yeah!!

nice work…are you using pairs of DB’s either way nice work.
I like those allot.

have you tried this for allergies?
its the shizzy far better then nettipot or pills.
Its a tiny tube of stuff you spread under your nostrils.

no i havent tried it! I’ll look for it tho!

I do love my netipot, though. you can’t take it away!! NOOOO!!!

does the tube of stuff smell funny?

EDIT: yes I used a pair of db’s for the SLDL’s, so 25 each hand to start out. I usually go light when Im learning something new.

It smells like some kind of mild menthol thing.
like vicks but not as strong.

I bet your netti pot is sold by a company in Honesdale PA- thats where I weekend/summer
netti pot works this is just another thing

the sldl you can use aerobic platforms with bigger db’s to pick them up off of.
