Looking at the video, you had that 2nd rep at 305 for sure, it definitely seems like more of a mental slip rather than a physical/strength one.
Elmore, thanks man when I watched the video I was too pissed off lol
Phlegms, it definitely was more mental slip than strength. Thanks for the encouragement!

NOTES: Awesome rowing day. Good PR on bb rows and huge PR on DB rows…felt great! I suck at chins hence why im incorporating them now, need to get stronger at them and it will open alot more doors to more PRs! Tbars felt heavy so I hit lighter weight for multiple sets with strict form. Shrugs felt heavy too. Guess the DB rows and chins took alot outta me! Great day though!
Nice log man, what do you use to add weight to your planks? I’m looking to do the same thing…
Solid man. Get vids of the session?
Soon enough it’ll be 50 reps at bodyweight.
RedRaven, thanks for dropping in man! I just put a 25lb plate on my back.
Blaze, vid is up. Yeah hopefully sooner than later!

NOTES: Pretty awesome shoulder/bicep day. Shoulders felt strong overall. Good PRs. Biceps felt really good, kept everything strict with a good squeeze. Awesome pump and feel. The ab wheel sucks, but its a good suck and I need to strengthen my core big time! Hanging leg raises is just me bringing my knees to my chest and squeezing because I cant do a straight leg hanging leg raise yet. Great day overall!

Fun times
Did you hop on that LAX ball today? A gym buddy used one for the first time today and he was in severe discomfort haha. It’s for the better though.

Yes I did, it helped and hurt! Going to keep it up for sure and the discomfort should be gone in no time!
Nice push pressing! Out of interest, how do you think the push pressing has helped your strict pressing? My military press seems to have stalled somewhat and I was thinking the push pressed would be a good way to overload my shoulders with weight and get them used to higher weight than I usually strict press in the hope of speeding up its progression. I think that makes sense anyway? ![]()

Yeah man, that is why I started doing it. Id say itll definitely break you through your plateau. That is exactly what it enables you to do, overload the shoulders!
Thanks man!
