NOTES: 315! Hell yeah, one goal down, 2 to go! Went up pretty smooth considering it was after the zercher squat PR. Tried 325 and it told me hell no, haha. RDL’s felt pretty heavy so cut it short and hammered hammies with the leg curls. Awesome day!

I just stumbled across your thread. Got some nice lifts. I have similar goals at the moment as you: 315 squat(even though you nailed it), 405 dead, 225 bench(recently hit that though myself). I have a question that maybe you or someone else could possibly answer:

It seems you havnt hit your bench PR of 225 as of yet, but you are OH pressing a pretty decent amount of weight(155+?). My OH press is probably my weakest lift, my current goal is just to get to 135, yet I was able to get the flat bench 225. Basically, im curious what you think could cause my flat bench to be relatively stronger than yours, yet my OH press is weak as shit comnpared to you. Is it leverages? Weak triceps? Sorry if this is a thread hijacking, but your a good inspiration for hitting some of these goal numbers. thanks

Thanks alot man! I have tried for the 225 bench yet. Actually have not flat benched in a few weeks, switched it out for decline. But, I will be flat benching friday to get back in the groove and hopefully hit the 225 soon after that. Well, my best OHP was 145x1 which I hit yesterday. I would say that it is probably a mixture of things honestly, with leverages definitely being one of them. Another thing could be form. For you on the OHP it could be weak triceps if you can get the bar over your head but not lock it out.

EDIT: Also, video’s are the best way to look at technicalities of a lift. Whether you complete the lift, or especially if you miss the lift. This way you can see either what you did wrong OR a weakness that you need to work on. In addition, people are able to critique and help you out.
