My old gym had em, dude, I hated them, my deadlift didnt get better till I started using round ones.

DF, yeah im home for the summer and the only ok gym here is the one im at (its either that or planet fatness). Back at school they have round plates and they are supposed to be installing a platform this summer too. Pretty sweet.

Did pullups as a burnout for sets of 3 alternating wide grip and neutral grip.

NOTES: Pretty good day. Focused on getting better ROM with the devil rows by hitting my belt with each rep. Felt much better and looked much better. First rep is always the toughest to hit full ROM with. Pendlay rows felt great, the 175 was a little sloppy for my liking but it will get better. Hit higher rep cable rows which felt good. Good PR on the HS rows too. Overall awesome day.

Nice PRs. I gotta give those Devil Rows a try. Are they for improving your deadlift?

Nice looking rowing session duder, I’m throwing in a day of extra back/rowing work tomorrow as I’ve noticed a couple of people on here doing so. Plus, my back could always do with some extra love.

Is that right? Well, I’m definitely going to have to give them a shot! I’ve only ever done db rows, barbell rows and weighted chinups really for upper back/lat work, so they’ll be fun. Looks like they would be pretty tough on the body in general, so I’m going to have to make sure to work them in intelligently.

Yeah definitely be smart working them in. I also dont use as wide of a stance on them as I do for my DL’s. Make sure for the ROM that the bar touches or gets close to your belt each rep. This is something I just started doing this week after H4M told me I needed to increase the ROM. They felt even better than before!

LOLOL I just got a hair cut saturday. Cut off 2 inches hahahaha. My hair used to be a #2 buzz! Devil rows ftw.
