I know for a fact that I look more lean, and I’ve lose two inches so far.
No muscle loss.
Well,I weigh only once a week in conjuction with my BF calipers.I like exact results because sometimes I can look in the mirror and swear I’m just as pretty as Brad Pitt.LOL,just kidding. My old 34’s are fitting again, hopefully in a month,my 32’s from 6 years ago will fit.
Wow,guess I need to stop HRX then, since I don’t need to look lie brad pitt.

Ha!I meant that sometimes my ugly mug looks pretty in the mirror.I need something else besides the mirror to judge my results since my mind can be biased.

So, it has done nothing for you?
Not yet. I’ve only used it for a couple of weeks, however.
How many weeks have you been below mantiance in your diet?
For around three weeks.
Do/did any other fat burners work for you?
The last time I was able to lose any appreciable weight was my sophomore year in college, at which point I exercised twice a day, ate below 1000 calories per day, and used Xenadrine (original formula). That ill-advised plan never got me below 10% bodyfat, either.
Have you lost any muscle?
Nope. My weight is stable. Of course, someone might argue that I am not, in fact, eating “below maintenance” if I’m not actually losing any weight whatsoever. I should say that I am eating well below what ought to be maintenance for someone of my height and weight.

Nephorm,
I remember you’re posts in the V-Diet threads last year, did you have any success with that?Maybe you shouldn’t start out too far below matenince, you might be shocking your body too much cutting cals too low, where even the HOT-ROX can’t help.Just my 2 cents.

I lost a few pounds with it, but I started seeing lots of things about it not being a good idea if you had more than 20lbs to lose, which I definitely do.
I seem to have two modes, in general: gaining fat and stagnating. At any rate, I’m going to start walking every morning just to see if that’ll give my metabolism a boost. I actually did lose 20lbs when I was in Italy, just from walking every damned place, and my diet was far from perfect at the time.
I am trying to decide whether to order some of this.
It sounds like it is working great for a lot of people. My only problem is that I might lose my money if customs grab hold of it as Yohimbine is not like in my country. I know some folks have got it in so I might give it a go.
I dont actually want to use it for another couple of months, but might be worth ordering it before cutoms find out they shoudnt be letting it in.

Also the special deal wont be around forever. I dont plan on using the bottles I bought for probably a year or more.

I sit in a chair, typing or reading for 7 days a week, so I don’t really burn that many calories by just taking up space.
I really didn’t want to turn this thread into my own private bitch-fest… I was honestly just curious if others were having such incredible luck without the use of cardio.[/quote]
Dude, that’s the problem right there. Alot of people expect to lose weight by eating below maintenance and taking in a magic pill. I suggest you start weight training and do some cardio, that will definitely help as it will give your metabolism a boost. Don’t worry about burning muscle, I know people dread cardio, but it will definitely help in the long run and you won’t burn any muscle due to the preserving of muscle in HOT-ROX. Good luck man.

Well, I am weight training, at least. I hate cardio not because of fears that it’ll burn off muscle, but because it is incredibly, mind-numbingly, boring.

I agree, cardio sucks. Just over the last 4 weeks though, I am really surprised at how well the cutting is going with the hypocaloric + HRX plan, and I think that the magic bullet was the non-exercise physical activity (NEPA).
I think I read about it in a Dave Tate article a bit back, and it made a lot of sense to me. Whenever I had tried to cut before, my non-exercise physical activity always slowed down to a snail’s pace. Just getting in a 30 minute walk on my off-days is making a difference, I think.
Although, we’ll see… I’m probably speaking too soon and may need to start doing real cardio soon when progress slows down.

Even HIIT?
I like interval sprints and such because there so intense, and short.
You could even try riding your bicycle to the gym if that is possible (I don’t know if you even have a bicycle or how far your gym is from your house), that could add 30 mins to an hour of cardio when ever you work out. Its also better than pounding out 30 mins to and hour on the treadmill.
I?ve been on HRX for 4 days now, wowsers! 1 pill twice a day felt good: a nice clean energy boost and a general upbeat feeling. Then yesterday I took my first 2 pill dose and took off like a rocket!
About 15 minutes after a 2 pill dose I get a massive energy kick. I do feel a bit jittery to begin with but it?s not a wired E/C/A type of jitter (is that even a word?) but rather a cool “get up and do something fun” sort of feeling.
That kick ass boost eventually levels out to a sensation similar to a one pill dose, which is a mighty fine place to be.
For anyone reluctant to order HRX due to their stimulant sensitivity Id say give it a go, one pill at a time is a manageable and enjoyable sensation.
Id be interested to know what you guys attribute these remarkably noticeable effects to?
Is it purely a result of the various chemicals stimulating certain parts of the nervous system or is the upbeat/energised feeling a direct result of an increase in metabolism?
I just started HOT-ROX today! Got just a tiny bit of jitters…I’m really sensitive to caffeinne. So it sounds like results take about two weeks? Or will I notice after one? I’m on a very tuned diet right now, at about 1400-1600 calories (5’2, female)…

Well, my gym is a three minute walk from my cubicle.
I would ride my bike to work if that were possible, but it isn’t.

Especially HIIT! Mostly because I do cardio indoors, and I don’t have a machine that lets me set the intensity levels automatically… which means watching times and screwing around with dials while I’m trying to concentrate on not falling on my face (I’m not exceptionally coordinated).
I LOVE THIS STUFF!! I have been using this at 1 capsule a day. Sometimes two but most days I find I only need one. It kills my desire to want to eat, and even after I eat, I still feel like not eating. I sleep like a baby and have energy to stare. I’ll take a Spike sometimes before I workout if I have a crazy day at the office. I can highly recommend this to anyone who wants to drop a few pounds without any negative side effects. Biotest keep up the good work!
I started HRX last Friday and all I can say is this stuff is great.
One question though. Today (Monday) is the start of my fourth day on HRX and this morning I woke up and just felt like I needed to go to the gym and rip through some weights. I just have this incredible energy and feel strong and all I can do is sit here at work. Has anyone else experienced this?
Has anyone else gotten insomnia from HRX? I started taking one in the morning, then two in the morning, then two in the morning, two in the afternoon (6+ hours before bedtime), and when I did that I just couldn’t sleep. I scaled it back to two in the morning, one in the afternoon, and still insomnia. Right now I’m taking two in the morning, none at night. Anyone else experience this?

I agree, most cardio work is exceedingly boring. But if you have, or can gain, access to a punching bag and a speed bag you might just find something interesting. I do intervals on the heavy bag, say 1-3 minute rounds on the bag with half a round rest in between. After, say, 5 rounds, I’ll go over and work on the speed bag for a while, usually until I’m frustrated as hell at it. Then back to the heavy bag for a few more rounds to take out my built up anger from the speed bag. Also, rope work is a great way to get the hear pumping and the lungs burning. Check out rossboxing.com for some more stuff on boxing style conditioning, a lot of it’s way more fun than running or biking.
good luck,
Jay
p.s. if you think you’re a real badass, try doing tabata style intervals on the heavy bag. Go all out on the bag for 20 seconds, rest for ten, repeat 7 times, vomit, fall over, curl up in a little ball and wish you were dead.

I tend to go to sleep 2 hours later than I would usualy when taking HRX. I wake up tired but 15 miniuts later im buzzing again after another dose of HRX! I followed this pattern for a week and then on saturday had no HRX and ended up sleeping for a solid 12 hours!
From tommorrow onwards Im planning on taking my second 2 pill dose much earlier in the day to try and get back to a regular sleeping patern. Although I can function well at the moment it probabley isnt the best idea to use a stimulant to combat tiredness in the long-run.
Has anyone noticed a distinct increase in mental clarity when taking HRX? Im on a VLCD and this stuff is priceless in keeping my brain sharp! Wish I had discovered it when I was at university doing exams and up-all-night assignments!
