My Garage Gym Routine

So im gonna start working out in my own little garage gym. all i have is a barbell weights, flat bench and a rack.

but i need some help with my routine. im gonna do something like this.

Workout A

Squat 3x5
Bench 5x5
Barbell Row 5x5
Dips 5x5

Workout B

Deadlift ramp up to 1x5
Front squat 3x5
OverHead Press 5x5
Chins 5x5

I will workout 3 times a week. and go for a 20-30 min jog 2 times a week.
all i want for you guys is to know if this will work just fine or if i need to change sometinhg ? if so… what to change!

I don’t understand lol.

Why don’t you do one of the programs like SS or stronglifts as you basically have almost the exact same exercises and rep schemes?

It will work just fine.

Something I’ve noticed with stronglifts and starting strength is there can quickly be a need for a rest week. This is something that 5/3/1 does well. You can make strength improvements longer if you take a little time to back off, focus on your weaknesses, and rest those minor pains before they become full blown injuries.

Pretty much what I was thinking. There’s really no reason to reinvent things.

Exactly this.

In a related question: I’m looking for something round and flat to fit on either end of an axle. I think it might make it easier to roll things along the floor.
