My First Time

Let us know how your taper works for you, what you feel while coming off etc. Thanks for the great posts.

OK, here’s some photos, taken about an hour ago in my kitchen (sorry about the rotten gonch I’m wearing, but that’s the only kind I’ve got). I also have to say, I’ve a new level of respect for bodybuilders, flexing like that is WAY harder than I thought it would be!

So far, a week into my PCT I feel fine. Still feeling good, waking up with morning wood. There’s a little bit of muscle-soreness that wasn’t there before, but my bodyweight is still at 230 lbs. and my lifts are still strong. I was squatting 385 for triples tonight no problem.

Here’s another one. As you can see, I had trouble flexing everything all together.

Looking yoke’d bro, how about a front shot? What do you estimate your body fat % to be?

Craig

Well, I’m impressed, JR, even without the before shots. Lookin’ solid.

I am considering taking deca for my first cycle. Should I take an anti-progesterone or would an anti-estrogen work?

looking solid man…keep up the good work

Thanks for the compliments guys. Sorry I don’t have any good front shots, they all came out blurry and dark (the light in my kitchen is shit).

Craig, my bodyfat is still around 10%. It pretty much stays there year-round with my diet. When I have to cut down for a fight or tournament, I start by cutting out the milk and bread, then I start getting leaner.

I’m still at 230 lbs. as of this morning and my strength is still there. I’m only lifting twice a week now, since judo season is here and I’m spending more time on the mat. I’m still out in the field, but only once a week, tossing kegs/flipping tires/sprinting/etc. And no more running everyday.

My mood is great and my libido seems more “normal” now. By that, I mean I still like to hump, but I’m not walking around town with a hard-on anymore, lol! I can actually THINK about a variety of things these days other than women!

Awesome…is this now your third week of PCT? So you should still be at 100mg per week? Keep the thread going man, we all appreciate reading your mood, libido and strength levels as you taper off…

Craig

Oh, excuse me…your second week of pct…@ 100 mg…

Craig

Heading into week 3 of my pct and everything seems pretty good. I’ve noticed that my nuts seem to be coming back now, they’re not back to full-size but they’re noticeably bigger than they were 2 weeks ago.

Friday morning I did deadlifts, dips, chins, and walking lunges, and my strength levels are the same as on-cycle. I still feel strong but not “super-hero” strong like I did on 500-600 mg a week of test.
Friday evening I went to judo with my old club for the first time in about 6 months, and my friends were commenting on the weight/strength gains. It was funny, because they weren’t negative about it, like most people. In judo, steroids are pretty common (at least half of my team-mates have used or are using AAS) and while it’s not openly talked about, “Vitamin-S” as they were calling it, is accepted as a training aid.

I’m getting muscle-soreness again after training now. It’s not as bad as before the cycle, so far, but I’m definitely feeling it. It just makes me appreciate testosterone even more, and I’m already looking forward to my second cycle next year, lol!

I’m cutting weight this week for a tournament. I’ve got to be down to 100 kg (220.5 lbs) for this Saturday. Shouldn’t be a problem, it just means I can’t put sour cream and butter on everything like I normally do, lol.
It’ll be interesting to see how much I gain back after the weekend.

It’s encouraging to hear about your strength gains and the ability to keep them so far 3 weeks post cycle. Do you have any plans yet for your next cycle?

Looking back, I think I could’ve pushed it way more in terms of strength gains. The lifts are all still there, and they feel “normal” to me now. I was perhaps too overly cautious, maybe that’s why I’m holding onto the gains so well, because I didn’t go beyond my true limit.

And sometime in the new year, when I’ve been off for 12 weeks, I’ll be doing my second cycle. I posted it earlier in the thread, but here’s the updated version.

weeks 1-3:
test enanthate- 250 mg. E3D
test propionate- 50 mg. E3D
stanazolol- 50 mg. ED
weeks 4-6:
test enanthate- 250 mg. E3D
anadrol- 25 mg. ED
weeks 7-12:
test enanthate-250 mg. E3D

This is what I’ve got so far. I was thinking of adding some IGF and MGF for the last 3 weeks, not sure, and stacking something else in there for weeks 7-9. I’m open to suggestions, ideas anyone? Goals are STRENGTH, speed, and recovery.

Well, I had a pretty good weekend. The tournament was a successful one. I cut weight down to 215 for the morning weigh-ins, which was too much but I was paranoid. But 5 hours later I was fighting at 225 lbs, so it was mostly water-weight. I felt pretty strong out there but I think I could’ve cut the weight smarter and gone in heavier and stronger.
Tomorrow I’m back in the gym so I’ll see if the weight-loss affected my strength levels substanstially.

The numbers were still there in the gym, but I’m fucking SORE! I shouldn’t have run and lifted this morning, it feels like my whole body is strained and sprained, and I was sleepy all day.

I guess I’m going to have to rest up more in line with being off-AAS. I knew that my recovery times would come back down to normal, but it still sucks. I over-did it and now I’m paying the price.

hahahaha…the clark kent metaphor you mentioned above really did come true :). Awesome your strength gains have stayed…

Not looking forward to that part. Good to hear you are maintaining your strength, though. I think that should be worth the pain.

Yeah, I don’t know what I was thinking, trying to train hard again a day after a judo tournament, AND while on PCT. I got so spoiled being able to train hard EVERY day and recover almost immediately on cycle. But don’t worry, Superman isn’t gone, he’s just resting up in his fortress of solitude right now, lol!

haha, yea I am currently in a fortress of solitude I can’t escape from currently…f’ing government.
