My First Injectable Cycle (Log)

I used to live off of eggs and tuna, theres nothing wrong with that. Eggs are one of the most bioavailable known to man and tuna just plain makes sense…where else can you get 30g of protein for 50-75 cents?

Glad your getting good results, you’ve got me even more excited for my own cycle.

On Monday i injected my right quad again, during the injection there was a slight pain when the needle was there, sort of like a soreness but i could tolerate it, I aspirated and injected, nothing went wrong really. Now the next day i was also fine but today OMG, the injection site hurts so much i can’t even walk properly. There is no redness or anything there, it just damn hurts i think i injected too low, but anybody know what this could be? did i hit a nerve? or came close… I hope it gets better, will wait and see.

god damn it hurts :frowning:

do you alternate sites? Bc if you keep hitting the same site e3d that could not give it enough time get ready for the next pin

atm i’ve been doing, right\left quad… E3D. I think i just went too low this time, Also one thing i remember now is, when i aspirated the bubbles didn’t come in from plunger, I saw alot of bubbles towards the end of oil inside syringe. Any idea what that could have been? or is it just normal.

ok, now the injection site is a bit red and sort of swollen. Im a bit worried now, that its getting worse. Should i get this checked out?

That’s fine, bubbles come from a vaccuum, not inside the leg. Yes, you probably injected a bit too low. The last time I hit a nerve it was too low on the quad. I don’t think you hit it (because you would have damn sure known), I think that oil is causing pressure there. You should incorporate more sites.

Figure out the ventrogluteal site (look in my favorites section). There are practically no nerves or blood vessels there, it is easy as hell to reach, it can take up to 5mls(!) of oil, and I have never, ever had any problem with it. It blows my mind that more people do not use this injection site. Delts are harder to shoot because you’re minus one hand but relatively painless as well.

ok thanks I’ll check it out, while the pain is still there, i see a egg shaped red mark on injection site. It could also be the gear been dirty, I’m using Eco Oils, could have just been this sachet. I ordered some filters, hope to receive it soon.

What you have doesn’t sound like an infection, just a painful shot. It happens sometimes. I don’t think you need to go through all of the trouble of filtering your gear.

here is a picture…

ok just had another 250mg left quad shot, the oil came from the same sachet. So i’ll guess ill see how my left quad responds. For some Odd reason my left quad is a hell of alot less painful than my right, i don’t feel the same sting when needle is inserted (Always goes in smooth etc.) It will be 4 weeks this Saturday, I bet it will kick in nicely soon, I weigh 89kg now, started with 85.5. Yesterday was my leg day, but i couldn’t make it to the gym because of the so called injection.

I guess the only really annoying thing about shooting the quads is, if something goes wrong (even slight pain) you have to change ur leg routine to another day :frowning: which sucks, because i love my squats (even though I’m weak ass at it, it makes my butt look good)

         Hey Oscar,

The pic doesn’t look that bad to me. Obviously keep an eye on it, but look for blotchy redness, and spreading of it. Your area looks like it’s not too bad, and just local, but they always start like that too, so I would just watch it closely. Mine got pretty large and blotchy, and I rode it out. It was scary but it finally went down on it’s own.
How’s it look today compared to the picture?

                ToneBone

it has spread to about double the size, but at the same time pain has been getting better, expecially after i went for a bike ride 4hours ago, its very warm when i touch it. I think its going to go away, but this was really scary. I planned on going to the doctors last night, but because some of the pain had gone away, i decided against it. Well the only disappointment in all this is, i missed 2 gym training sessions :(. I will also take this weekend of, and hit the gym back on monday. Hope its alot better by then. My left thigh is injection went great (oil from same sachet) barely any pain there. Tomorrow will be 4weeks, should be kicking in by now, to be honest i have no idea lol apart from some strength increase last 2 times i went gym, nothing much different. Tune in for updates.

Oscar

ok sweet, the redness has gone away today and so has most of the pain. I might hit the gym today. Glad its all over, was really scared for awile.

Those bad injections are no joke. It seems like no matter how hard you try not to, you invariably end up with one. Glad it worked out.

Had another injection yesterday (250mg/1ml]. Something has really been worrying me, the first times i injected myself in the outer thigh i did so very high and at 90degrees now my last two injections have been quiet a bit lower almost in the middle of the muscle, which has been causing more pain. Now I’m worried that the first couple of times I was injecting I may was not been hitting a muscle at all, If i aspirate and see bubbles 100% of the time, does that indicate i am hitting muscle? I’m still using my 23guage 1.5inch, so i guess the size is no problem as some use 1 inch only. I don’t know why i feel this way but i just do, and would love some advice on this. Maybe it does not even matter where I’m injecting? aslong as its in my outer thigh and no blood right?

Dingdingding! You can inject into your forearm if you can manage to stay away from the nerves and blood vessels (but you shouldn’t). I highly doubt you are missing the muscle. You should be injecting into the outer thigh, about midway between the knee and top of your leg. If you have the needle at least an inch in, aspirate and bubbles come up, you are completely fine. There is almost no way you could “miss” the muscle if you do this. Also, use the ventrogluteal site! It’s too damn easy and convenient to neglect, and even if you get a painful injection, it’s not going to stop you from training.

Here some pics of my last injection spot , which is a bit lower than where i used to inject.

I would like to try this ventrogluteal site, but i can’t seem to find it as easily as people say it is.

Go up a little higher (toward your waist) on your next injection and see how that does you. The spot you indicate looks like where I hit a nerve last time.

Just back from the gym, had the best chest workout ever in term of intensity, was really busting my ass off, a little strength increase again this week (finally it might be kicking in). It can only get better from here i guess, on the way home i was riding my bike and some stupid cops stopped me asking where i was going, “back from the gym mate” he then searched my bag rofl… only to find my gloves\gym towel lol. Such pricks tho to even check my bag :\ sucks when coppers Interrupt your cardio.
