GREAT news! I just got my gear today, and I am very excited! My cycle has already been delayed about a few weeks since my first order got seized and everything, so I decided I will start tomorrow (Friday) instead of waiting until Monday. I got everything else ready, this was the last step.
My cycle is as follows:
Weeks 1-10: 500mg/wk Testosterone Enanthate (still considering a frontload, not sure yet. If I do, I will be shooting the first week: Friday, Monday, Wednesday). Other than that, 500 a week shot on Friday and Tuesday split into 2x 250mg doses.
Weeks 2-12: Arimidex 0.25mg EoD
Weeks 13/14/15/16: Nolvadex 40mg ed/30mg ed/20mg ed/10mg ed respectively
As far as diet goes: I will be staying on the anabolic diet (refeeding every 4th day) and will try to consume around 4500-5000 cals/day. If I fail at doing so for reasons out of my control (which, I most likely won’t), my contingency plan is to switch into a high carb diet.
Current weight: 192 lbs ~9% BF
I will be updating this log as frequently as I can to monitor my own progress, as well as let you guys view it.
Lastly, I would like to thank everyone at T-Nation who made this possible.
Could you take a before pictures or progress pictures throughout your cycle?
I am sure I don’t have to tell you this but destroy any tattoos or scares and cut your head off the pictures. Make sure there are no land marks or anything in the background.
Everyone would love to see the progress and pictures are worth a thousand words.
Anyways: I decided I will frontload (I would have extra test E after the cycle anyways so it isn’t really a waste) at 800mg for week 1. Second shot will be tomorrow.
I guess that’s true, you have a lot more experience than I do.
My line of thinking was that since SHBG’s t1/2 is 7 days, that the sudden increase resulting from the frontload will decline after the first week and the advantage will supercede the disadvantage of having a lot of testosterone bound the first week.
I am probably completely incorrect. Could you elaborate if you got time Bush, this topic intrigues me.
I don’t have time to type out my pre-cycle stats, but they are in a thread called “the natural limit” that I created.
Anyways, I decided to just keep it at 500 for the first week and not frontload. Today’s injection completed the 500mg for this week. I can’t really be certain if I feel anything yet in terms of mood elevation and libido, as both are usually very high anyways.
No adverse pain though from the injects, and the AD is going well.

You’re on the right path of thinking. In the end it likely wouldn’t make a difference, meaning you would be wasting the gear during the frontload. There is concern of sustained levels of SHBG or overly down-regulated receptors. In the end there is nothing to gain and you avoid possible negative effects. I’ve tried both frontload and not, and I didn’t see a difference besides less initial side effects like acne and mood swings with the not. Unfortunately there isn’t much scientific data with this application, so it’s more anecdotal evidence and inference from somewhat unrelated studies.
Well, today is the first day I really “felt” anything physically. My workout intensity was through the roof today. In between sets I wasn’t even noticing all the ass around me, I was just pumping myself up for my next set.
One thing I don’t understand however, is that I am already +3 pounds, which doesn’t make much sense. My only guess is that I am holding some extra water, which I don’t understand the reason for, since I am on the AD, and should be noticeably dry.
Today’s workout was kind of sketchy. I had to cut it short because after my squats I could barely stand (lower back pain). This was a chronic issue for me in the past and I still get some heavy pain once every 2 months or so, so nothing to worry about.
I will pick up the slack for today’s missed workout on saturday.
Week 2 sounds like your powering, i am just into my first week, sus 250, d-bol course, reading all you guys post has got me so keen to train this arvo.
Don’t know about you mate but its all i’m thinking ABOUT getting in the gym and training, and doing it right, all the best.
