I’m pissed. The guy with the camera didn’t show up. I couldn’t wait for him. My first 600 couldn’t wait for him. So I did it without a camera. I wish I had one.

Cool, we have new forums. Congratulations on your PRs.
I’ll be doing my maintenance work for the whole month. Come June, I’ll be working on my bench and overhead press. However, I want to try something different. I’ll be employing supramaximal loads until they cease becoming supramaximal (Good thing I found a new gym buddy). I’ll still use a double progression method, but something completely different.
I’ll be training twice a day 2 times a week for 2 months (June and July). I’ll constantly use 110% of my current PR. My workouts would look like this:
AM workout
A1. Partial Bench Press (465 lbs)
A2. Negative Bench Press (465 lbs)
PM workout
A1. Partial Overhead Press (365 lbs)
A2. Negative Overhead Press (365 lbs)
As usual, I’ll have a deload week. Here are the deload workouts:
AM Workout:
A. Bench Press (340 lbs)
PM Workout:
A. Overhead Press (265 lbs)
Here’s the monthly schedule:
Week 1-3: Regular Stuff
Week 4: Deload
Week 5-7: Regular Stuff
Week 8: Deload
Week 9: Testing
And the maintenance day:
A. Power Clean, 3x3 using 4RM
B. Squat, 3x3 using 4RM
C1. Weighted Chins, 3x5 using 6RM
C2. Seated Rows, 3x5 using 6RM
*120 seconds rest between C1 and C2
Here’s what I want to achieve after 2 months:
-Bench 465 lbs (40 lb PR)
-Overhead Press 365 lbs (30 lb PR)
I know that’s kinda ambitious, but I’m a gutsy person. I’ve never done this before so my body should be shocked to adapt quickly. Stay tuned, y’all…
Hello again. I was busy for a while so I didn’t post my Monday workouts. It was grueling, to say the least. The partial bench pressing was easy. The negative bench pressing was a lot scarier. Partial OHPs are a lot harder and hard on the shoulders. Negative OHPs are the worst of all. I’ll train again maybe tomorrow or on Friday. I’ll keep you posted.
My workouts today seemed easier, although I was pretty sore for a few days. I guess my body is in adaptation overdrive.
You come up with some very interesting training methods. I might give some of this stuff a try later on in the summer.
Come to think of it, there isn’t much to say about my workouts. The weights involved are the same, so there’s not much variety. Everything is qualitative. Either I felt better, felt worse or did the same. That means I won’t post all the time. However, I’ll make sure to post important updates.
I will probably shoot you a PM in the future with questions about the way youre doing things.

Speaking of which, I sent 2274 a couple of PMs and he isn’t replying. Maybe he turned off the PM function like I did.

My bad. I turned it on now. In any case, I’d prefer if you ask questions here instead.
BTW, my training is progressing pretty well. My partials are going past half the whole ROM. My negatives are also getting slower.
I could somewhat lift the weight at the bottom position but it’s still too heavy. Still, my partials are getting lower.
BTW, I changed my supplements.
-Whey
-Creatine
-Beta Alanine
-ZMA
-An adaptogen complex
-A test booster complex
-A thermogenic complex
I can attribute my increased performance to the thermogenic supplements I’m taking. I feel like exploding the weights.
Sorry I had to lay off for a month. Nothing much happened. Anyway, I just tested my 1RMs, and here they are:
Bench Press
405x2
425x2
445x1
455x1
465x1
475x1 (1RM PR!)
480x0
Overhead Press
315x2
335x1
355x1
365x1 (1RM PR!)
375x0
So the stuff actually works. I’ll be laying off again for a month to concentrate on work.
