Yeah I think a lot of it will not be used, seems like a waste for me. What I do is drink 40g of whey with each meal, and each meal has like a regular portion (i.e. not bodybuilder portion) of protien… i.e., 40g whey protein with 3 jumbo scrambled eggs with mushrooms and cheese, 1/2 cup of of oats w/ blueberries. Then, take some fish oil caps. This = power breakfast.[/quote]
If I dropped the amount of whey to say 50g and drank 3 raw eggs would that be an improvement? The reason I say raw is because I have serious trouble eating solid food in the morning and don’t mind the texture/taste of raw egg so it would be easier for me to take them this way.[/quote]
If you have no problem with downing raw eggs, have at it man. There are plenty of ways to spice up a shake… protein powder (2 scoops), cottage cheese, eggs, cinnamon, fruit, oats, nuts, a shot of fish oil or olive oil, yogurt, cocoa nibs, peanut butter, etc.
