Arms look good. Back needs muscle, I’m sorry. Of course get lean enough and/or stand under an overhead light source and you’ll always see more detail
One comment/question: Have you ever done deadlifts seriously (or heck rack pulls) during your training career? Your back has the “look” of someone who relies mostly on pulldowns for width and rows/shrugs for thickness.
yes you are right, i never did them seriously, only occasionally.
but for the last three weeks, i ve been starting my back workout with deadlifts. i do 3 warm up sets then do 3 working sets of 8. after that i do one arm barbell rows a la John Meadows. 3 working sets of 8-12. then i do dumbbell shrugs with 3 second squeeze at top. i finish with prone trap raises. 3 working sets of 10-12.
for the last 2-3 years my back workout was like below. i cant do pulldowns or cable rows because i dont train in a commercial gym.
one arm deadstop db rows 3-4 sets of 8-10
corner t-bar rows 4-5 sets of 8-12
elbows out dumbbell rows 3 sets of 8-12

I’d bet you are a very arms-dominant puller. Maybe drop the weight a little on your rows and really try and squeeze the top of the reps.
^This looks to be true (as well as more muscle/less fat is needed). Try to throw in some stuff that takes the arms out of it like straight arm pulldowns, kayak rows and the like.
You’ve got a wicked set of arms which is great
you would be amazed how much those “wicked” arms will shrink once OP actually gets lean
there is no need to be mean. i came here to seek advice. i didnt claim that i have a great physique. you sound like having bodyfat on your muscles is a crime. im getting leaner day by day, i was 106 kg 3 years ago, this morning i weighed 84 kg. for me, its an accomplishment. after i opened this thread, i have a new mission to improve my back, thanks to nice people that are willing to help, not trying to insult me in every post.

I wasn’t being mean, I just didn’t want Yogi to give you the wrong idea regarding your physique.
you are still very much a beginner… you really should not worry about how much your back double bicep pose “pops” (for lack of a better term) at this point in time… maybe after few years of consistent training, dieting, and sleeping

This. Drop ego. Get an Mmc then load. Rack pulls and DLs aren’t needed. They can be useful but maybe they aren’t. An Mmc is all important

I don’t think I’m giving him the wrong idea. Obviously they’ll shrink as he leans down but his arms are pretty good!

uhh, not to take the wind out of your sails or anything, and I only say this for motivation to push your self harder, but you look like you haven’t been lifting all that long man. Lose the ego.
OP - a couple of these dudes are being ridiculous, you fall squarely in the intermediate category which is where the vast majority of lifters on this site fall.

yeah i know i just couldnt swallow being called a beginner.
i know im not advanced but definitely not a beginner. intermediate is ok for me
Dude doesn’t look bad. Definitely not beginner. He has some muscle under the fat. Most of the guys on here who are critical have never actually tried to gain some lean beef. After 3 years of lifting I started to admire a lot smaller physiques–once I realized how hard it was to get lean and ripped looking.
The dudes back to me looks decent. Deep and pretty wide. My lower back will not grow no matter what I do, so I wish I had back like his. Although I can’t do a lot of heavy lifts like deadlifts and squat because of disc issues. I am 40+.
Arms decent, chest decent. Decent V taper. Triceps look a little weak IMO.
Decide if you want to be big and soft or cut and small. Once you cut that fat you will be skinny as fuck. I cut to 170lb 5’11’’ and had good abs, but I looked tiny (even though ripped). At 200lbs and soft I have wide enough shoulders to carry the weight well–no huge gut–dudes at gym give me way more looks at that size. It’s a balancing act. Right now cutting at 190lb. If I can get down to 180lb and re-assess my muscle gain I might bulk again.

Thanks for your nice words. For years i ve been between 210-220 pounds. i was really big but very soft. Im also sharing my back shot in that weight.
Im in a serious cutting phase now for the first time in my life and this morning i weighed 185 pounds. my goal is to drop down to 176 pounds, 80 kgs.
I like how i look now, of course im smaller but my waist is very small and i started to see some details in my delts, arms, upper back and obliques. Hopefully i will see my abs in 80 kgs.
After that i will try to bulk up to 85 kg without gaining too much fat and eating clean food most of the time.
