My 5 Week Cycle

I highly doubt most people on T-Nation or any other board waited to gain 80-100lbs before they started steroids. I surely did not. Before I started lifting I weighed about 160lbs, and I began my first and only cycle at 205lbs. I am 5’10. I am now hovering around 220lbs.
That’s not to say that this kid shouldn’t wait, because he obviously should have. [/quote]

Yeah. I exaggerated when I said 80-100 pounds. But I personally would still not use steroids at 6’1 and 180-190. I I could perhaps see it being somewhat reasonable competition shredded at 190. I hope that he will take these posts to heart and stop his cycle (safely)? Train hard and add a lot of quality mass before considering steroids again.

Guys I do have a well balanced diet I don’t any junkfood. I eat my protein shakes, preworkou, postworkout, I know what to eat. I’m gonna finish this cycle but I will take your advice and wait till I weight 180.

P.S
thanks for the comments, they where actually helpful and not deragatory.

The diet is a small part of the equation here. The primary reason you make gains is through not overtraining your body’s recovery system. The moment you overtrain your gains stop, even with a good diet. This is why you have to learn your body and what/how much makes it respond and grow. If you’re not growing and having a good diet it means you did not learm this yet and are patching things up with AS as they increase your work capacity to supraphysical and suprepsychological levels. When the AS runs out you’ll be frustrated once again, i think this is what everyone was trying to say to you here.

Also, make sure your diet is truly dialed in. Not eating junkfood and having a proper PWO shake does not necessarily equate to a proper bulking diet. Above all, you must be getting enough calories. And food choiches and nutrient timing throughout the day should be appropriate too. If you haven’t already, look through all of Berardi’s Massive Eating articles. It would most likely be a good program for you to follow.

Very gald you guys all come on here with your comments. I have bee considering doing a cycle myself and was told that one would help me get better started since I am one of those “skinny” guys. I am 6’ 140lbs. Been thin all my life adn always eat fairly well and often (that was until I read massive eating like was suggested here on the thread and realized I am doing nowhere near enuogh) LOL

It is very tempting for thin guys to want to start off with what they think will be a boost, I know I do! But after hearing what you all have said you have stopped me from embarking on my quest to use AS’s, which would have began in a week or so (a guy at the gym in Lonon was going to set me up with a plan).

Guess I will do it the harder way  But I can see where he is coming from, you just want to gt a bit more size that seems to have eluded you your whole life (granted it is because I did not train hard enough or eat well enough I am just learnig).

So thanks for all these great posts, you did save one skinny guy from making a huge mistake (34 y.o. by the way).
