Yeah. I used to shed 2-3 lbs. of water weight over the course of a wrestling practice or conditioning session even at 120-130 lbs.

Why would this be a problem? You are not her coach or nutritionist. She is the one that needs to decide how serious she is to lose weight, and your involvement, as her fiancee, is not to “go crazy” and and count every calorie. This is her thing, not yours.

She told you this? Does she really wants to? If it were me I would think she needs to lose 50 lbs but everyone’s different. 20 lbs shouldn’t be much of a problem if she really wants it. So she asked you to devise a plan? If you imposed this on her well it probably won’t work. Change comes from within.

Personally I wouldn’t want to marry a girl that was frustrating me physically because I wouldn’t want to be tempted, or not as invested anymore because I was thinking of other girls. But you want to marry her apparently, so she must have plenty of qualities. I suggest you weigh whether her weight is a deal breaker or not, and just talk to her about how serious she is about her weight loss. Because what will happen in 5 years? 20? When you have a child and she gains weight etc. If she can’t lose weight right now at 21, when it’s really easy. What do you think will happen later when life hits hard? Will you be able to cope with it, be there for her and support her? Or will you go crazy?

Physically, she has 10/10 genetics. 5’10, natural DD boobs, small waist, size 45 inch hips with a huge butt. She will look like those Latina pornstars if she gets in decent shape. She has a good amount of muscle now. She’s also 21 and I’m 31 so the age is perfect. Her aging genetics are also fantastic. Her mom is 48 and looks 34

Stop saying this like its some sort of proven thing. Assuming you are measuring and tracking correctly, If you set up diet with 2500 as maintenance, and a sufficient deficit to lose 3lb a week, and you dont lose 3lb a week, then 2500 is not maintenance. It is as simple as that.

Stop freaking out over ± 1lb fluctuations, it is stupid, after a low day you will have less glycogen, less dietary transit mass and less water retention, after 3 slices of pizza that reverses. Gaining 3lb after a ‘cheat’ day isnt ‘fat’ gain, its weight gain. They are not the same thing. Weigh yourself, drink 1litre of water, weigh yourself again, do you really think you just gained 2lb of fat?

It’s 2020, how do you not have photo/video available? Given what you’re estimating for calories, I don’t think your eyeballing/measurements are accurate even for your or her bodyweight.
