My 10 Month Transformation

Hi guys,

Long time visitor to the site, first time poster. Im Adam, im 23, and have been lifting since i was a teenager. This year has been my first year of competitive bodybuilding. Here is my 10 month transformation for 2013.

Very nice to see your discipline in dieting paid off. Well done!

–Me

Nicely done man, you look like a different person.

What is your body weight after the transformation?

Good stuff man, impressive in such a relatively short time and without losing much muscle, actually looks like you gained muscle.

Where is the like button!

Impressive!

What is your stage weight, height and some measurements would be good to know.

Koing

Awesome cut, dude.

Well, go on, tell us how you did it!

Hi guys, not been on the forum since i posted this (not had time)

Thanks for the great comments and feedback! It was a long process, and whilst it was hard, it also wasn’t (if that makes sense).

I’ve never been a ‘bad eater’ since i started lifting. I’ve ate clean pretty much since i started lifting, especially so from the age of 18. Getting me to eat junk is always a hard task. I would literally maybe have 1 cheat meal every 6 months, and most likely the cheat meal would be eating out in a restaurant where i don’t know the exact proportions of foods im eating.

THAT being said, since finishing my last show, i’ve had a 2 week blow out and ate junk every day. This junk has been on top of my regular diet however, so im not neglecting getting the right nutrition into me. This past weekend that came to an end and im back on track.

For those who want to know how i did it, I explain in current videos i have uploaded, and in videos i will be uploading, along with on my site.

However an overview of it is:

Cut until May (For my first show)
Bulked until almost end of July
Cut until my show in November.

My ‘cut’ and ‘bulk’ is probably different to what most people think of them as. When cutting I was still eating high carbs, as high as 500 on some days. I was ensuring i ate clean 24/7, tracked and weighed all my foods, made all my workouts intense (short rest periods), utilised supersets, performed cardio every other day (every day for the last 3 weeks leading to my November show).

Most importantly i was consistent with my diet & workout. As motivation, I used not placing in my first show, to ensure i worked hard to perform better in my 2nd and 3rd shows.

Regardless of what people think about the answers I give, my youtube videos, my accent or whatever, Im glad that some people have appreciated the work i’ve put in, and enjoyed the transformation video. Im not preaching to be an expert, because im not. In the grand scheme of bodybuilding and fitness, my experience are relatively low compared to experts in the fitness industry and professional bodybuilders. Im not claiming my routine, diet, macro’s, or the advice i give out in videos to be the best, or to be a 1 size fits all fitness solution, because it isn’t. Im simply sharing my experiences, my body transformation, what’s worked for me, and on occasion, spice this up with some idiotic styled youtube videos.

Thanks for the people who have taken time to post, comment or give feedback, whether good or bad. I respect the fact that people will critisice my videos, my transformation ,or me as a person, just as much as i respect the positive feedback i’ve received.

If you liked the video, thanks. If you didn’t like the video (or me) thank’s for taking the time to watch and let me know either way.

For those who want specific info on my diet and routine (and there has been a lot of people ask) i will be getting them up in videos and on my site when i get chance. Some of this content is made, however needs editing, so time permitting, will depend on when i can get it up.

Thanks guys - Keep Clangin’ & Bangin’

Just curious based on what you mentioned about carb intake, have you ever considered using Indigo-3G from the site store? I think it would do great things based on how you diet.

good job. hope you enjoy T-Nation

Are you a natty? Not judging anyone just want to understand where you are coming from.

Fair question. With all the misinformation and deception in the industry, it is always nice to actually know where someone is coming from

Good stuff. A few questions about your transformation:

-You started at 215 lbs. How tall are you and what did you eventually weigh to look decent (in your opinion) at your most recent contest?
-What changes did you implement from one contest to the next? Did this actually help, or did you just place better due to it being a different lineup of competitors?
-Would you do anything different? Obviously you didn’t need to ever weigh 219 lb, and were told so by a former Mr. Universe, but do you think hitting 215 was absolutely necessary? (You mentioned how in a hoody all your buddies told you how ‘big’ you were)

Could be, but he has been sensitive to this line of questioning in the past.

Suum cuique pulchrum est.

I wasnt actually kidding

When someone has their name, age, pics of their face etc etc displayed publicly I dont think its appropriate to ask the person about gear unless they speak about it first

If the guy is using but dont want it public what is he supposed to do? Lie? K…

Now given this dude is from the UK i guess use is legal but I doubt this was taken into account when the question was asked
