Have you guys been going through the first 3 weeks? How’s that going?
I’m finishing up my second week…I had to modify leg day since I have 2 herniated discs in my back so I sub deadlifts for squats (deadlifts don’t bother my back, squats do)and I changed a couple of the other leg exercises but I use his protocol, supersetting the 2 exercises 3/5 and 3/10 with his temp recommendations…
It’s going ok…I just finished a 4 week bulking phase using Mag-10 and gained 25 lbs, up to 220. I want to go into a show sometime in Sept/Oct so I started my cutting phase using the Mutation Series. I already lost about 5lbs but its too soon to tell anything yet…
My biggest problem is day 2: chest/tri’s/delts…my triceps are screaming after the first superset, its almmost impossible to do the second and third superset…I barely get through the workout…it’s brutal!
I’m just finishing the first 3 weeks. Its definitely a good series. Kicks my ass everyday I’m at the gym.
I am now on my fourth week of the first phase…stupid delay…

I started the program at 6’4" 223 18%…I am down to 211 (havent done the bf yet waiting for second phase to start)
I am following the program almost exactly except I have to do my workouts in the morning due to work so I had to change some of the timelines for the meals but I am getting about 550g of protein a day, 50-60g fat and keeping carbs to about 40g a day. ON non lift days I try to keep carbs under 25g.
I really like this program alot and have noticed great improvement in my body sculpture. For the first time in about 5 years I am seeing my abs (not alot mind you but their trying to peek out).
I also replaced the ab work out with CT’s Awsome Abs (I think thats the one) and I do that on Sundays with the HIIT training and Weds with no HIIT.
Was thinking about putting a little Ma-10 in there since I am eating big right now…but decided against it.
Well if anyone can think of any improvements or changes, let me know.

yah the delay does suck. i started a week late. i guess we’ll be doing the 16 week program.
No biggie though…but this is the best series that I have tried so far…I really like it and found it really easy to stick with the big eating. The only thing is on Fridays the off day…I feel like I am really missing the gym…

Amen Cant wait to start the second Phase. The whole Carb rotating thing will be interesting due to the change of diet on a daily basis. MY only question is I use 2.5 scoops of Surge and thats over 120g of carbs…does that count torwards my daily carbs? That seems like a really stupid question but I am not sure…
