I think a lot of people on this forum (probably me included) could learn a buttload from this thread.

Honestly I’d let the kid go and make a fool of himself. Some people just need a damn rude awakening to kick their ass into sense.
My friend was going to compete and he’s been lifting for over 5 years, he’s short and has decent size. Yet I flat out told him he should probably lift hard for another year or two. He agreed 100%.
