Is it just me, or do heaps of big guys listen to Shinedown?

Probably because they rock. Dude has an awesome voice, lyrics are good and the music is just plain awesome.

Oh, and I never thought I’d hear a skynard song be done better than skyndard did it… Simple life by Shinedown is freakin awesome. Not really great to work out to, but still an awesome song.

Barracuda, wasn’t that Heart back in the mid seventies. If I’m right the song was about their ex-producer when he held them to their two album contract. After he found them playing in the Vancouver night clubs. They were out of Seattle. The two female singers were real hot, now they’re all blimped out. [/quote]

The guitar playing blond sister stood hot through the years. Very nice rack she sported. The raven haired lead singer Ann was the one who kind of exploded. Both were incredibly hot when they came out. Magic Man was another good hard tune by them.

No. I meant Page’s bitchin guitar can do all the talking; especially listen to the solo on “I’m Gonna Crawl”.

I’m more of a:
arch enemy/at the gates/btbam, becoming the archetype, cannibal corpse guy myself.

Not enough love for Rise Against. Really just so good under the iron.

I do like Arch Enemy and At The Gates too! I also like some metalcore too, because it’s usually pretty brutal, but not so negative and at the same time inspiring:
As I Lay Dying
Killswitch Engage
Bullet For My Valentine (yeah I like 'em, so what, ya wanna fight about it?? lol

Extreme Death Metal:
Black Dahlia Murder

Black Metal:
Wolves In The Throne Room
Melancolia Estatica (weird shit that’s kinda out there, but it’s still great)

Thrash:
Municipal Waste (because it’s dumbass metal and funny to listen to)
Megadeth (of course!)
Metallica (1981-1987 only!)

right now I’m lstening to a band called blooddawn, you should check them out. Fragments of unbecoming is pretty good, fall of serenity is pretty good, The autumn offering, diecast, as I lay dying, trivium, as blood runs black, damnation AD

honestly though as of late I’ve been listening to more nevermore/megadeth/pantera/metallica/slayer and a lot of rock.
