Well, that slope really puts you at a disadvantage.

Fun is fun guys, but all joking aside, remember we have hard training sisters next door at MWA and taking cheap shots at women who are making the effort and busting their perfectly shaped asses in the gym is un-gentlmanly, thoughtless, cad-like behaviour. If you have some sex-based issues that need working out, get counseling, face your fears and go get drunk at the local Drag Queen bar, or visit the abundant number of “she-male” sites on the web; but please reconsider inflicting your issues on our sisters here at the Nation/MWA. Being unappreciative of Femme-Muscle is one thing, there will always be those similarly challenged and that is their choice, but being crude about it is another. Self-control, Sirs, self-control!..
As for Ms. Nelson, her combination of beauty, muscle, and hard work is clearly demonstrated in her Ms. Olympia performance(video attached). She is a Super-Heroine and knows it. I’ve seen her lift some damn big weights. Kudos & respect I cede to her. If that offends your tender ego’s, so be it, but your unwarranted carping will never diminish her hard-earned accomplishments…

I don’t think it’s all that disparaging to our sisters at MWA to be honest about the picture of that woman and to treat it with a little humor too. I’ve never seen MWA members look remotely like that.

Okay, I was crude actually. You make a good point there. Of course, I always have maximum respect for anyone with that degree of dedication. Oh and that routine kicks ass.
Not finding her attractive does not mean I’ve got sexual issues by the way.

It’s quite aerodynamic though.

I did qualify my statement, JS…

“Fun is fun guys, but all joking aside”…
she suddenly wips a cock out out
Not disparaging and humorous at whose expense?..There are plenty more authentically “masculine” women to inflict such “humor” upon if it is such a necessity(400lb motorcycle riding inverts intentionally attempting to grow facial hair and actually do desire aquiring a “cock” via surgery, for example). Nelson is far from deserving such carping IMO…
and I did also qualify: “Being unappreciative of Femme-Muscle is one thing, there will always be those similarly challenged and that is their choice”…
If the shoe fits…
Self-control, Sirs, self-control!..

You did not imply she had a “cock”, so it does not apply to you, right?. Consider this, however. You can diet and exercise to change your shape, but bone structure is another matter altogether…

As I understand, bone structure can be altered via the use of certain hormones. That’s one of the main reasons I’ve always been hesitant to go the steroid route. Fast muscle mass is good, but don’t want to mess up the “shape” so to speak.

Not steroids, B’, that’s HGH in vast amounts for a very long time. Look up acromegaly…
My point was it’s unfair to pick on something a person cannot “fix”. Of course, some people think its OK to rag on the physically handicapped too, so go fig’…

It doen’st have to be insanely massive, and it’s not a myth. Like you said your highschool running back ran track. Track practice consists of stretching and running.
If you take a person and just have them do nothing but a bodybuilding routine they will eventually become less flexibile then someone who doesn’t do that routine.
The fact that many people who can lift weights can now do other functional things is not because weights doesn’t stiffen you, its because they compensate by doing different types of exercises(plyometrics, sports, HIIT).
Weight training, if you do balanced exercises through a full range of motion, can actually improve flexibility. Every time you contract a muscle, you lengthen its antagonist.
This is not as effective as actually working on range of motion by doing static stretches, etc, but it is still true.
Of course, of you used to stretch and then stop once you start lifting you will lose flexibility, but it isn’t because you are lifting, it’s because you aren’t stretching.
