I don’t think the sexy blonde he lives with and bangs would agree either/;-D
Just to add a bit onto the muscle bound mythbusting, you should have no problem as long as the vast majority of your weight training involves the full range of motion on exercises.
I think a big part of what contributes to the myth is bodybuilder-ish training that incorporates partials and isolation exercises which may exaggerate strength-flexibility imbalances.
Just for the fun of it, here’s Olympic weightlifter and two-time Mr. America, John Grimek.
One more, just because it’s a favorite on a martial arts board I hang at sometimes.
The moral of the story is that lifting weights and building muscle isn’t bad for athletic performance. Lifting weights and building muscle stupidly is bad for athletic performance.

To answer some of the questions:
Yes I do brief warm-up stretching, also try to stretch throughout my workout most times.
if my cardio you mean treadmill, stationary bike stuff, no.
I take creatine, protein shakes, drinking lots water, some herbal vita supps
I do take breaks from training every 4-5 months, I take week or 2 off. cramps can occur during workout especially ab work, crunches; but also away from gym while resting as I described.
serious posters can also PM or email me.
thanks

I remember when i took creatine i started getting some serious cramps in my NECK! So if you haven’t solved the problem yet, you might wanna try getting off creatine for a little bit.

Football, f’flippin crissake, give it a break, She’s in contest condition in that pic, of course she’s gonna’ look shredded. I don’t have a ton of pics of her, but will attach the only one I have of her off-season. BTW, she was chosen to represent sexy female BB’s on the documentary film “Cleavage”, centering on our obsession with female breasts (and did a great job of it, too). She’s also been featured in the ad campaign for “Axe” grooming products. She’s considered one of the more marketable reps for female bodybuilders to the general public, which means “toned down” by bodybuilding criteria, so be a gentleman and a bit more open-minded in this case, please?..

Who is that guy anyway? He’s got a damn good build.
I have been training parkour for the last 3 yuears or so and regulary attend all sorts of workshops and the such.
Recently I had a friend come along for a visit to see parkour being trained and to have a play himself.
This guy is the same height as me - 5’10 and 105kg (almost 20kg heavier then little me ^_^). He is a strength and conditioning coach with more degrees and qualifications then I have fingers and thumbs. Also rather tight with the old MA’s.
Anyway towards the end of the day I managed to convince this guy to have a play with some parkour specific mobility drills.
The drill was simple - a scissor kick style vault over a low beam immediatly followed by a step under on the same beam.
Needless to say this relative behemoth outperformed a good portion of the other traceurs who attempted it and many were baffled how someone much heavier and more stocky then they are could possibily move with such agility and finesse.
The answer of course is that this guy is an athlete… training all of his physical attributes as well as his mobility, etc.
Musclebound is bullshit… unless of course it gets to the point where you start getting stuck between things lmao

Hahaha!! It may be good for about 10 mins until she suddenly wips a cock out out of nowhere and tries to man handle me!! I don’t think I’d be able to fight herhim off! I’d just start screaming like a 5 year old school girl!
I’ve seen that pic elsewhere credited as being Dave Palumbo, but he’s definitely not the same dude from the former front page. He was known for his over-sized glutes and crazy vascularity.

C.C.: I respectfully have my doubts Coach, the vascularity (particularly the chest) maps out exactly like “Jumbo Palumbo’s”, and how could that be a coincidence? I vote it being him, all the way, IMVVHO…

Fun is fun guys, but all joking aside, remember we have hard training sisters next door at MWA and taking cheap shots at women who are making the effort and busting their perfectly shaped asses in the gym is un-gentlmanly, thoughtless, cad-like behaviour. If you have some sex-based issues that need working out, get counseling, face your fears and go get drunk at the local Drag Queen bar, or visit the abundant number of “she-male” sites on the web; but please reconsider inflicting your issues on our sisters here at the Nation/MWA. Being unappreciative of Femme-Muscle is one thing, there will always be those similarly challenged and that is their choice, but being crude about it is another. Self-control, Sirs, self-control!..
As for Ms. Nelson, her combination of beauty, muscle, and hard work is clearly demonstrated in her Ms. Olympia performance(video attached). She is a Super-Heroine and knows it. I’ve seen her lift some damn big weights. Kudos & respect I cede to her. If that offends your tender ego’s, so be it, but your unwarranted carping will never diminish her hard-earned accomplishments…
