Muscle Milk

Wow, I’m smelling something around here…

Anyway, I’m pretty sure professional football players guzzled gatorade on the sidelines because it was really good for their goals. Yeah.

Has anyone gotten fat off of muscle milk? I really have yet to meet anyone who has. Most people seem to lose weight with it.
Yeah, I drank it with every meal for three weeks (chocolate) and I didnt gain anything
but it can have some to do with my body type

I recently saw in Ryan Kennelly’s video that he guzzles muscle milk and he is a monster. By the way, anyone have that video “Road to the Arnold” with Ryan Kennelly? THoughts, opinions?

Sounds like an intentional product plug in the video, although I have not seen it.

Perhaps he is sponsored. This is the way it works with bodybuilders and their videos. I’m sure that supp companies know that having people see an athlete use their product is more effective than any print ad.

I’ve recently started using muscle milk. I can’t really comment on long term stuff about it, because I just started using it. But I can say it does taste great, have a reasonable price, a lot of different flavors, a good nutrient profile, mixes easy, and does seems to fulfill hunger cravings. So all-in-all I like it so far. I do think it is high in calories for just a protein shake and I’m using it more as a MRP. I’m not saying its the greatest in the world, but so far so good.

Sorry If i’m mistaken, but isn’t muscle milk classified as an MRP anyway?

Chris, I can e-mail Ryan and ask him, but I don’t believe he is sponsored by Cytosport. Now my friend big Chad Aiches is, and big Chad used muscle milk long before he was paid.

This cat was asking bout muscle milk not Grow! Man I couldn’t give grow away at the store I work at. That stuff ended up going out of date and I had to take a huge profit loss and pass it out to my employees for free.

Anyways Muscle milk is a really good protien I drink it all the time and I can see the striations on my body so it musn’t be too bad for yuh.
Uh yea, I know guys that are under 200 lb like you and they eat Burger King for 4 meals a day and still stay lean. So I guess that means Burger King musn’t be too bad for yuh! Or it would be retarded to use that reasoning but either way.

I have only consumed the premixed MM in the ready to drink containers so I am not sure what they are using as a base. Water, milk, heavy cream?

I tried the new Metabolic Drive Complete yesterday for the first time and found it to be almost as good as MM. I am guessing that the difference in flavor must be the extra fat that is in the premixed MM.

I am not pimping MM as I spend between $300-400 a month on Biotest products.

Chad Aichs is suuuch a pussy … only squats 11 and benches over 8.

Damn that f*cker is big. You guys see his pics from his first highland games?

I wonder how much MM he goes through? I’ma go to elite and ask him.

You may not be, but somebody sure as heck is.

A good quantity of posts in here sound like sales literature… or is it just me?

Sugars make people fat.

Isn’t there a Biotest supp with 50g sugar/serving?

Yeah, it’s called Surge, maybe you should read up on it. Guess you haven’t read anything about nutrition in the last say, 5yrs.

Hey, settle down boy. Just go drink Muscle Milk and youll feel refreshed and ready for action again.

Julia, have you tried Metabolic Drive yet? If not you should. Or you can visit MM’s site and pump there product there.

Take care,

D

I like it, just doesnt have enough calories in it for me and its pricy. I drink the pre-mixed stuff since it is easy and quick between meals. No fat gain to report. I like banana cream the best.

I just made a connect this weekend 50% off everything in GNC so I will be getting some more of it.

Bastard, I will take big Chad to lunch and he fills up my whole truck. He weighs around 390, and I think very soon he’ll be the top dog in powerlifting. Chad is a good friend and will help anyone. He doesn’t like to eat like a SWH, so he takes large amounts of suppliments to keep his weight up, so drink your muscle milk.

George

Okay, I had to bite.

I remember trying Muscle Milk when it was first talked about on this site almost 3 years ago. I got Cookies n Creme and maybe a Bananna flavor, I don’t remember at this point. I didn’t think it was that great and ended up giving it away to my coworkers. When I saw this post, I wondered if maybe they had advanced and gotten better. So I figured I would try some now. My feelings: nothing to write home about.

I’ve tried Root Beer Float and it does not make me run up and down the streets saying “finally they’ve replicated the taste of junk food exactly.”

It’s not bad, but it tastes like a protein shake with a slight root beer taste, instead of tasting like real root beer with real ice cream in it. Also, it has zero fiber, which I think in this day and age is not cool for protein powders.

Maybe other flavors are amazing; I certainly haven’t tried them. But I would say based on my experience, the taste is okay, not bad if you are looking for something different, but far from jump up and down great and far from deserving this long, praising post.

And if you are helping the GNC guys offload the truck, they should be giving it to you for free. They charge 10 bucks MORE per tub than where I found it online.

So can we move on from this post now?

Ok, so I ordered some because it was so cheap that I have to try it…I’ve used both Grow! Whey and Metabolic Drive and like them both but fuck man it can get expensive and shipping…for real…$20 regardless of whether I order a $9 bottle of ZMA or 10# worth of shit? I figured I’d try the MM. I’ll report back soon.

PS: I heart Biotest

Settle down? Boy? You’re funny. That’s nothing, haha. See nominal is a “personal trainer” ie- know it all. Not that all PT’s are like that.

Muscle Milk while tastey is WAY overpriced, actually in terms of grm/$, yes I fgure that stuff out. It’s the most expensive protein I know of. Of course if it’s more effective than something less expensive, it’s worth it, but I won’t use glycocyamine.
