Muscle Milk & Glycocyamine?

Muscle Milk still contain glycocyamine? This includes both the powders and the Ready-to-Drinks. I cannot seem to locate this ingredient on the label. Forgive me for my ignorance.

I will always be a Surge loyalist, however MM is mighy tasty though…

No, I believe Cytosport pulled it out of their products.

And Surge is a superior post-workout recovery drink, MM doesn’t even hold a candle.

Woot for Surge.

I’m pretty sure they took it out. Too bad they can’t get rid of that funky aftertaste. I got some vanilla for free and I doubt I’ll use the whole tub.

I get alot of opportunities for free muscle milk, I just throw it out. Honestly it is one of the worst tasting proteins I have had.

Your the first… It’s great tasting but low overall in quality of protein…

They have good proteins, if it’s what the label claims. It’s basically the same thing as Metabolic Drive. Actually, I have the same problem as the previous poster, the chocolate, cookies and cream both taste like ass. Chocolate PB I’m on the fence about. They do make some nice strawberry and cream and banana and cream fruit flavors though (same with evopro). Either way, I go with the Metabolic Drive because I trust the quality a little more and have little to no reaction as well.

I’m not sure how they’re phasing out the glycocyamine, but I just had picked up a box (20 packets for like 10 bucks) at GNC about 2 months ago and they all had it. I believe if they’re taking it out at all, it’s only in the collegiate versions.

I use Muscle Milk. I’ve gone from 264 to 284, and my BF is down a couple of percentage points.

Now, I am injecting CYP, so that certainly played a role in that gain.

My goal is to top out at 300 at about 15 or 16% BF. There are a couple of younger gents here on our TKD circuit who need a little lesson in humility.

post some pics brother…
Solid

I think that it is too sweet for me. I actually like the taste of the GNC brand protein and love the taste of syntha6 and Metabolic Drive. I know its not just me because a co-worker of mine agrees with me, then again another co-worker thinks the exact opposite about muscle milk.

I used to love MM blueberry cream (contains real blueberry!), but after tasting Metabolic Drive I just can’t take it anymore. MM is crap to me now.

MM is way too thick and sweet. I love how Metabolic Drive mixes really smooth and the flavor is just right!

See I have the reverse problem. I love the way Muscle Milk tastes, I’ve tried several flavors from when I was working at GNC, but I have a hard time with the taste of Metabolic Drive. I try to do as much as possible to mask it and help build on the flavor, but I keep ending up with a gag-inducing shake

I can’t get past the weird aftertaste of Muscle Milk. It’s really nasty.

Besides, as I’ve mentioned several times before, I can’t for the life of me figure out why anyone would want their protein powder loaded with cheap canola oil. Most people get too much omega-6 fatty acids already. Why add more and further throw off your fatty acid intake?

If you want fat with your protein, add olive oil, coconut oil, or some other desirable source of fat.

Or sunflower oil like in Metabolic Drive Complete?

Geez, save it and ship it to me, I’ll pay for shipping. =)
