Metabolic Drive Complete vs. Muscle Milk

Can anyone tell me how they compare?

How about regular Metabolic Drive?

Right now, I use Muscle Milk because it’s one of the only ones that taste good and don’t give me gastric upset. I’m thinking about ordering some Metabolic Drive Complete or Metabolic Drive and want to know how it compares.

I used to use muscle milk when i didn’t know anything about Metabolic Drive. I did like the taste of Muscle milk, I think Metabolic Drive tastes better now. I did have upset stomach with MM but no problems with Metabolic Drive for me.

I would definitely pick Metabolic Drive. MM is just shit now. That’s just my opinion.

I have to say I hate Metabolic Drive, but for another reason.

I used to be a big Muscle Milk (and evem EvoPro their low-carb version) fan. I still do Muscle Milk before bed, but I can’t stand the taste of EvoPro anymore after going with Metabolic Drive.
The EvoPro is just gross tasting.

Metabolic Drive FTW

I’ve never had the Metabolic Drive Complete before though

Do you mean Muscle Milk?

Metabolic Drive Complete is better (less sugar, more fiber), but muscle milk costs less, depending on where you buy it, and it has a lot more flavors.

Metabolic Drive Complete is my numero uno protein supplement. Order a bottle and give it a try, I really don’t think you’d be disappointed.

D

There is more casein in the Metabolic Drive. The taste of Metabolic Drive Complete is the the same as the Low Carb version, just with the added ingredients it is a little thicker and not as pronounced. Still there is no foul aftertaste like some other proteins and it goes very nice in a blender with a little milk and fruit for thick tasty milkshake.

i was trying to be “smart”. i hate Metabolic Drive because EvoPro is cheaper, but Metabolic Drive has ruined my liking of EvoPro

Oh, I see. I wasn’t questioning you, I was just confused. I guess that makes me “stupid,” lol. I’ve never used Metabolic Drive before, so when you said you hated it, then said FTW, I got slightly turned around. Don’t think I was questioning your supplement preference or anything.

i knew you were confused by my statement, it’s all good

Metabolic Drive Complete is a superior product to Muscle Milk. They really aren’t even comparable in my opinion.

Word.

No contest.

Ew I hate muscle milk. Some of my buddies rave about it but I think it tastes gross and gives me the worst stomach problems and “bathroom” issues.

Metabolic Drive is pretty good. A close tie to Metabolic Drive in terms of effectiveness and “cleanness” would be Synthetek Industries Pure Protein: Natural Flavor.

Its 29g of protein per serving and only 0.3g of carbs. The ingredients just say, “Undenatured whey protein isolate” lol.

I only like it because it mixes well with everything. Sprinkle it on veggies, fruits, pb sandwich, soup, whatever and it doesnt taste like anything. It has that slight protein flavor but thats it.

The knock: The shit is expensive as hell. Its like 50 dollars for 2 lbs.

In the end though Metabolic Drive is more “user friendly.” You can just put some chocolate Metabolic Drive in some low carb milk and you have one healthy shake to go. Easy breezy.

I used to ask the same question, why was Metabolic Drive so superior to a protein like muscle milk. I had purchased a few tubs of MM from an amazon deal for ~18/each. I also had a tub of Metabolic Drive. So what I did was do MM for 2 weeks, then switched to MD to see the difference.

When used during the day, I didn’t really notice the difference between the two. But in the shake before bed, thats where Metabolic Drive really stood out. I’d wake up with more energy and felt less sore. It was really a huge difference. So much that I’ll never go back now. Try it for yourself.

I actually don’t mind the taste of EvoPro, then again I’ve never had Metabolic Drive. I now use ON Casein.

I don’t think the MM blend tastes bad, but some flavors have much better taste/texture than others. If you do buy some MM stay away from cookies and creme.

MM rocky road is really rather good.

? What do you prefer than? cookies and creme is my favorite flavor.

I prefer the taste of MM.

Rocky road and chocolate caramel swirl are my favorites. It’s not even necessarily the flavor of cookies and creme that gets me, but in my experience the texture is a bit gritty even when I mix it with a blender.
