Muscle Building Supplements For Teens

I wouldn’t say he gains muscle very easy. We have him on a high protien diet and a pretty vigorous workout routine

6’1” 185lbs

He needs to be on a high calorie diet, rather than just high protein

Whats his age.. I assume he has some lifting experience via Football?

Milk and lots of it. GOMAD

Understood, he’s toward-ish the leaner side.

There’s a time for extra high protein but when trying to gain weight/muscle it is not necessarily the ideal. I’d bump my last recommendation up to twice a day full fat milk, scoop of whey, banana and walnuts. 2 x 1/3 cup of walnuts (abt 300 kcals), Banana (abt 100), 1.5 cups milk & whey (abt 400). That’s 1600 kcals for a fairly simple, quick easy eat to fit between meals. And It comes with solid quality of all 3 macros. Additionally, Keep nuts out in a dish wherever he roams. They’re calorically heavy. Also up his rice or starch vegetable for meals

I understand the concern now …

He is defently underweight for that position . ESPECIALLY… if the plan is to move up to the college level.

I asked his age I forgot to ask his current grade.

Also what is his current strength level?

I assume his Vertical and 40 along with everything else is on par?

Any appetite to move to safety? What year is he?

Can you be specific concerning his speed? Just curious.

I was thinking the same.

I sometimes have found (in my own long ago experience; not saying it’s the case here) that we can ask ourselves the wrong question. We think we’re asking “do I want to play QB or TE” (I’m looking at you, Mr. Tim T.), but the actual question in front of us is “do I want to play football or not”?

This thread has me curious… I want more info. More specifically his age and grade level. Since he is having colleges looking at him as a 185lbs DE.

Im guessing he making the most out of his speed and technique at this point.

17 and yes for football

17 and yes he’s pretty quick and has a Mean Joe Green attitude

He’s almost unstoppable off the ball and he has super quick hands. He’s not weak but it is hard to shed a block from a 300lb lineman.

I think he couldn be a great outside linebacker if we can get his speed down to about 4.6 from 4.79

There is no harm in asking the doctor, but where did this belief that creatine is some powerful supplement? That there is some health risk in taking creatine?
