Stu, what might be the reason for the 90’s granite look versus what we’re seeing now? As for the veins everywhere comment, are you saying that’s not the best look when not combined with the granite look of the muscle? Guys these days seem to have a “puffier” look, which I think I’ve seen is a result of maybe drugs and the way they’re training.
I agree with this as well. I’m attempting my first ever lean out and sure enough the legs are the last to arrive to the party.
Man, see that’s impressive coming from an amateur. Seems like only focus these days is get as big as possible regardless of how it effects the end product.
Yeah, you don’t see many christmas tree lower backs like that anymore.
What kind of calories are we talking to get the Christmas tree assuming your 180lbs in that condition? Hours of daily cardio? Tren+T3?
The leanest I’ve ever been was like 8-9% at 190 and I was fucking miserable. But I’m a natural fatty tho
Its not even Christmas yet his got his Christmas tree erectors up.
All that cream of rice kicking in. You know a guy is on with his meal prep when he can’t be bothered to chew rice anymore lmao.
He reminds me of Berry de Mey, who was a big name during the 80s, a tall, kind of lanky dutch guy who always came in ultra ripped.
Fun fact, he won a contest in 1985 called The World Games, turning pro. Also in that contest was a very young novice called Dorian Yates, who had never competed in an international contest before. Dorian was apparently very impressed by De Mey’s Christmas tree back and conditioning.
Berry Demey was another one of the greats!
My family friend is Ron Noreman. He did 70 natural and NPC shows total. He helped Kai Green with one of his Olympia preps.
Berry Demey still looks great now.
Yer looks amazing for 57, and he even kept his hair. Lol
Bastard.
Would Rogaine lose me my natty status?
I like how this thread has derailed into reminiscing about 80s bodybuilding. Remember Albert Beckles, who was basically the 80s version of Dexter, competing from 1965 until 1992, and actually winning the 1991 Niagara Falls Pro at the age of 62?

Signature pose. I drew this on my basement wall around 1989. He also did the “Quadriceps shake”.
Lmao yes I like the way this thread has derailed too. And Beckles was a legend. Soon you’ll be adding picks of Charles Claremonte and Bertil Fox
Mike Matarazzo by chance??
Now there is a name from the past. If you are going to throw that name up you need a calf shot
