3 wide grip 3 netural done 4 times over the course of my benching, ya got all that?! Good.

Then I did this cool press thingie with this bar that puts your hands in the NG position. I don’t know what it’s called. But it kinda mimic’s a log press (in my mind anyway) so I did that for 4 sets and it was fun.

Rope tri extension 4 sets, lat pull down 4 sets, dips 4, 4, 4.

DONNNEEE Dunno what I’m doin’ tomorrow. Maybe try some heavy carry type shit. Maybe some ab type shit. Maybe some resty type shit. FEELING GOOD THOUGH MAN.
Going to start eating more BEEF and attempt to gain a few pounds. I feel too skinny. DO NOT LIKE.

I don’t have a car or a prowler either. Live in London - owning a car here is costly and the public transport is good enough that I don’t need one. As for the prowler, living in a teeny flat makes that out of the question. Lack of fitness friends too. Eh…never mind.

So um yeah, i lost my train of thought for a second there admiring that nice picture on the other page. Such a strong beautiful pose. I will say i liked the first picture from over the summer and i like this one too. Looking good all around.

Regarding the sled, is there any way to loop the rope around the sled somewhere to shorten the rope a little. If the rope is detachable you could bring your own shorter rope if you have something else that would work. Another thing, i’m sure you have a belt somewhere. You could loop the rope though the belt, that would be at least a little bit more comfortable. Appoximately how long is the track you have to use?

Lifting news:
random day of conditioning, etc…

I dragged the prowler with the rope thingy (AND HERC, thanks! I knotted the rope up so it wasn’t too long for me anymore, yay) then I pushed the prowler, then I dragged it some more (felt like a horse) then I pushed it some more. Then I walked up some stairs holding a plate, then I dragged the prowler walking backwards a bit. That felt very nice and quady. Umm walked with some kettlebells up some more stairs yadda yadda.

EXCITING PART:

Weighted chin ups, YAhH!! I attached that ol’ belt thingy to my waste and put two tens on there. soo 3 chin ups + 20lbs, then 3 more chin ups, and then 2. Felt very awesome-sauce.

Standing pull down ab thing. First time trying this and it went pretty well. I think I was using my core properly, but I will have to start doing it a bit more to really get the hang of it. Super setted that with hanging leg raises and called it a day.

Life news:
Will maybe post pics later of my mini golf date with child.
Last night second and FINAL class presentation went SO EFFING AMAZING, AHH! My name got selected first and I OWNED it. Stayed connected with my mind and really focused. When class was over this girl walked up to me and said “I think you are going to be the most AMAZING interpreter”. Wow, I coulda hugged the crap outta her.
Anyway, life is very FUCK YEAH right now. No other way to describe it.

Okay well I took the camera to the gym today and when I got home I realized two things: the camera needed to be placed up way higher (perhaps set it up on a few plates or something) annddd my hips need to be down way lower/my back rounds.

I dunno, it’s weird. I feel strong and comfortable, but it doesn’t look right. I don’t think I have ever had proper deadlift form in my entire life, yet I can deadlift the shit out of everything. I got a video of my 240lb pull today, but I don’t think anyone wants to see them epic bad form-ness…

I was so happy with this until I watched my videos and then I was like, UHH, well, so, was it an accomplishment because I struggled and pushed myself the entire time? DId I build strength even though there was flaw in my form? I know it’s a good thing, but it’s still kinda a disappointment for me.

  2. No, that isn’t a good idea.
  3. Hips down, head up slightly.
  4. Don’t think about lifting the bar, think about pushing the planet down with your legs.
  5. Do NOT be unhappy with PRs. Ever.
  6. Post the damn videos so we can dissect it. It probably isn’t as bad as you think.
