I humbly nominate Human Centipede: The Human Centipede Trailer (2010)

“the mothman prophecies” will make you shit your pants for weeks on end.

Wow, that one is definitely an original jaw dropper. This one might make me sick though. From the trailer alone, I felt like I was in danger. Wow!

Dead snow : - YouTube

It’s a Norwegian film that was featured in the sun dance film festival. It’s a mix between evil dead and 28 Days later.

also, not really a horror movie but an insanely good sattire. Another sun dance film.

Tucker and dave vs evil : - YouTube

It looks to be the shaun of the dead in terms of teen slashers.

Irreversible, not for the faint of heart…if you have a heart, it isnt for you.[/quote]

If I have my facts correct, isn’t there a really faint, high-pitched tone that plays for the first half-hour of this film? Apparently it does something to disorient the audience. All I know is when I watched it for the first time on the big screen I became physically nauseous and dizzy. Apparently when it was screened at Cannes over half the audience walked out.

Also, Men Behind the Sun is gut wrenching. The “cold injuries test” scene with the boiling water is truly fucked up. That it is based on actual events (Unit 731) is even more fucked up.

“Serbian Film” recently screened at SXSW to all sorts of hoopla.

Apparently, its supposed to be the ultimate exploitation film. Even those who have given it “positive” reviews have discouraged potential viewers from going to see it. My guess is that it will never see the silver screen except possibly in very limited midnight runs. Now, I’ve seen Salo, Cannibal Holocaust, and the Guinea Pig series without blinking an eye, but the redband trailer for Serbian Film makes me think I might be better off not seeking it out.

im such a pussy that im not gonna watch any of these shows.im just gna wiki them.

Is there anybody else who is never really scared DURING a film, yet repeatedly shits themselves in the following week?

Serbian Film (Srpski film) Red Band Trailer (2011)[/quote

I don’t know about the tone in Irreversible but I don’t doubt any of the trickery that might have gone into it.

Serbian film, that trailer looks intense and very upsetting but after reading what the creator’s intentions were I will probably look for it. There’s beauty in horrific symbolism for me.

Yes.

To me, it’s what really makes a horror film excel. I love the challenge of trying to forget what I have seen. If that makes any sense. I also like the images and scenarios that I unknowingly come up with based on the films.
