Shutter Island
The Usual Suspects
Vertigo
Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
A Clockwork Orange
2001: A Space Odyssey
Mulholland Drive
Blue Velvet
Eyes Wide Shut (an underrated movie in my opinion)
What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?
The Lost Highway
Chinatown
The Sting
LA Confidential
8 1/2
Adaptation
The Game
Dammit thats the movie thats been going thru my head. The part where the dragon shows up and is almost raping that girl on the dance floor…wow. Tripppyyyyy
Stalker is a great film, and certainly the most difficult out of all of the ones mentioned. Solyaris is another Tarkovsky sci-fi film which I would add to your list. I suppose ExistenZ should be mentioned, given that Videodrome is in the OP.

edit: THAT then roll a joint and watch the Doors.[/quote]
I was watching Jacob’s Ladder once with a friend while we were pretty baked, and the dance scene and the hospital scene both scared the shit out of us. I don’t want to even think what it would be like with anything stronger.
Oh, and Primer isn’t a mind fuck. You have to be able to understand what’s going on in the movie for it to be a mind fuck, and Primer’s story is about as convoluted as I’ve ever seen.
Jacob’s Ladder
The Game
Rashomon, after a fashion
The Orphanage
Fight Club (obviously)
Memento
The Machinist
Shutter Island
The Usual Suspects
Old Boy
Dark City (minus the opening monologue)
Brazil
Donnie Darko 2
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance(A little bit at times)
Any anime/movie made by Japanese director Satoshi Kon
Perfect Blue
Millennium Actress
Tokyo Godfathers
Paranoia Agent
Paprika
The tamest of them being Millennium Actress which follows the life story of an actress from WW2 to current day randomly having her continue the story through her films. One minute she’s chasing her long lost love down a hall way and the next she bursts through a door into a feudal Japan castle being sieged as a princess who gets cursed to never get her hearts desire. The others movies are much much creepier.
