Most Hated Food

Anything with Cilantro. The smell alone makes me nauseous. The taste, well, the one time I did eat it by accident I wanted to cut out my tongue.

What the hell is a “Sea Cucumber?”

(Pic PLEASE???)

LOL!

My father made a whole batch of Italian food with Cilantro once. He thought it was Parsley. We threw it all out and ordered Pizza.

Cilantro
Peas
Liver
Tripe
Stuffed Grape Leaves
Met-Rx products
Protein Bars (most of them)

Sea Cucumber!

I hate pudding. And mushrooms.

Cottage Cheese,

Unless I blend it up with Metabolic Drive, natural peanut butter, splenda, and milk to make a afternoon chocolate peanut butter cheesecake milkshake…mmmmm

Madness! haha

There’s a mexican restaurant called La Familia here in Fort Worth that uses loads of cilantro in the fantastic chunky salsa they make…its not hot enough overall, but its some of the best salsa I’ve ever eaten.

Thom Yum Ghoon smells like vomit.

I don’t really like pickled beets, though there’s nothing that I just won’t eat. I grew up with a chef for a mother, so I tried everything and pretty much like it all.

Beef tongue definitely doesn’t excite me – it has the texture of a sponge, in my opinion.

Most fish and sushi. It usually has to be fried or severely seasoned and blackened for me to handle the taste.
Brussel sprouts.
Entrail concoctions.
Pepper flavored vodka.
Kale.

Of course, there are numerous unusual food items I plan on never trying; most of which come from Asia. And there are simple ‘bad idea’ foods, like street side taco-stand tacos in Mexico or shrimp with an odd odor.

brussel sprouts!!!

What a god awful herb.

I guess I’ll be staying away from La Familia in Fort Worth. Thanks for the heads up…

“Even with Strawberries.”

Years ago my mother would roast a pork and once cooked, would take the juices and put it in the fridge. The fat would rise up and harden and the rest of the liquid would become a gelatin.

My mother and 2 of my siblings would smear that stuff on toast and eat it.

The look of that stuff just freaked me out…

I second this one, and add asparagus. Brussel sprouts smell like my high school gym locker.

Eggs! They smell like the girls’ locker room…Yuck!

I lived in China for a while and I’ve eaten: Owl, Jellyfish, Duck Tongues, Chicken feet, Fish eyes and Century eggs.

Woe betide you however if you put celery anywhere near something I’m eating.

Any pasta with marinara or spaghetti sauce. Pizza sauce is COMPLETELY different. I will eat pizza. Do not, however, come near me with spaghetti or lasagna or manicotti or whatever else you covered in tomato-based sauce.

I love tomatoes in chili, sliced, on a sandwich, in salsa, but there is no way you’ll get spaghetti sauce near me.

Onions are the other thing. Only obliterated in salsa or large chunks in soups/stews/roasts so I can pick them out.

I will gag and possibly vomit if I eat onions or spaghetti sauce.

Pickles, yuk!

My wife and three kids could eat them 24/7, double yuk!

Oh my god, that makes me shudder just thinking about.
