Most Effective Sports Supplements

I was wondering what supplements would be the best for a person in my situation. I just joined the rugby team at my college and I am training for the football team next year. My position in football is running back and either safety or outside linebacker. All I know about rugby is that I will be running the ball alot.

I am 175lbs. I want to get bigger… gain about 25 pounds of muscle by next year. I really want to get stronger also. I know I am little, but the stronger the better. My running style is based on quickness and illusiveness, so I don’t want any dead weight. Therefore, I would like to lose as much fat as possible also. So if anyone can help me decide on which supplements to get and maybe some diet tips also, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

You want to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time? That will be impossible without AAS usage. However, do some research on this site and you may enlighten yourself on ways to meet your specific goals. They also have a great place to get the best supplements on the market.

Gaining muscle and loosing fat is VERY possible.
In fact, the more muscle you gain, the greater your resting metabolic rate is.
Every pound of muscle in your body burns 69 calories a day just being maintained.

Good food is obviously the best “supplement.”
Eat a variety of proteins. Eat a lot of protein (at least 1 gram per pound of bodyweight. Possibly 1.5. 2 grams if you’re serious). Eating a high protein diet doesn’t cause renal failure of liver failure. If that were the case, then pro-natural bodybuilders would be dropping like flies. Eat enough carbs to match your body type and activity level. You’ll get enough fat through eating the pounds of meat you should be eating.

The best Supplement and THE MOST IMPORTANT supplement is a good Post-Workout protein shake. Biotest’s Surge is probably the best place to put your money. If you have to buy one thing, buy Surge and just eat real food. Surge will give you lots of protein, and has D-Glucose to replenish the glycogen stores in your muscles. It’s a good idea to take the BCAAs and Proteins right after you work out that are contained in Surge because your body can start repairing itself right away.

It’s also a good idea to get that D-Glucose from Surge after you work out because you’ll have just used up your muscle glycogen stores in your muscles and your body will super-compensate when it get the D-Glucose and fill its muscles up with even more glycogen than before. More glycogen storage = bigger muscles. Bigger muscles are stronger muscles.

Creatine, Fish Oil, and Multivitamins are somewhat helpful but won’t help you out as much as Surge.

A good protein powder is a convenient thing to have when you need to get in a meal but you can’t prepare real food. You can’t use Surge as anything other than something you take during or after you work out because the enormous amount of D-Glucose sugar will be stored as fat instead of glycogen. That would also be a monumental waste of money since you can get a good protein powder that costs much less than Surge.

I would avoid fat burners for health reasons.
I think products that claim to raise your testosterone and Nitric Oxide Boosters are a bunch of crap.

So…

Surge
Protein Powder
Creatine Monohydrate that mixes well
Oil or Capsules with Omega-3s
Cheap Multivitamin

Will do man thanks alot. I appreciate it.
