Damn. I was just about to invent one.

I should get the trademark…I said it out loud first. (^:

I don’t care about the environmental crap they spew, the earth can take care of itself (HAHA! let the flaming begin), but the fact that I don’t have to shell out twenty bucks a month or worry about leakage is fantastic. Fan-Damme-Tastic. (Hubby watching Jean-Claude El Wifebeater… pun came naturally to mind… but yes they’re great.)

Wow, thanks to all the ladies who are discovering the Offbeat parts of T-Nation! Your participation is welcomed!

It never occured to me that posting pics of my daughter would rile people, and calling her my adopted daughter was somehow bad. Forgive me as I am older (53) and we maybe speak somewhat differently. I mentioned ‘adopted’ simply to avoid confusion; I’m not asian and my daughter is.

I do sometimes brag on my kids (my older boy got a 34 on the ACT, putting him in the top 1% of all test takers. My younger boy got straight As in Middle Skule again) but rarely. Those are their accomplishments, not mine. And there goes my bragging quota for the next year!!

Yes October Girl, I most certainly will hold them for you! Outstanding…

For the record, Manteca is 60 miles south of Sacramento, near Stockton Modesto.

But you look Asian in your avatar. Posting pictures of your white kids would have confused me.

But if one thing should be (and likely is) known on T-Nation, it’s that HH is a motherfucking clown. The fact that he’s a teacher is a disgrace to the county’s educational system.

I’m sure he’s filled with good intentions, and I really have nothing against him except his overwhelming stupidity, but it’s hard to be tolerant of someone who looks at gays like they have some sort of communicable disease and starts shit on the internet because no one will listen to his crazy fuckin ass in the real world.

Irish, you and I go a long way back, back to the time when you proclaimed that you were a communist/socialist workers party cockroach. I then had hopes for you when you got your English degree (even started a thread to congratz you). So what do you do? Take a job putting advertising flyers under windshields…pathetic and a waste.

You are also an atheist. I have deeply held religious convictions. Those convictions tell me that homosexuality is wrong and so YOU pronounce ME crazy…could it just possibly be the other way around? Anyone who believes in God is crazy, Irish? Are they really?

You are what we call ShantyIrish, born to drink, beat your women (which you have ‘jokingly’ advocated), and basically spending your life in the gutter. Well, go ahead…the gutter awaits. Burn one down and roll all around.

You’d think a 53 year old teacher would possess the ability to construct some rebuttal above and beyond “omg, ur manless alcoholic. get out of teh rehab.” Or not.

Out of my extended family, social, and professional circles, I can’t even Fathom one person who would suggest purchasing a vibrator for their daughter, even in jest. There are some things that shouldn’t be suggested, even while allegedly “joking” on the internet. Some behaviors shouldn’t be tolerated, especially when the offender works around children. Forgive and forget if someone posts a tasteless rant, but pedo-teacher went way over the line, and a lot of people here are unlikely to let it go.

You’re correct.

Emily,

So you’re a MALE counselor… of children… who goes on the Web as ‘Emily’? Do the children know that you are a man? How do you dress around them? Do you take them ‘camping’? You, who question my teaching 17 year olds because of a joke thread, pretend to be a woman on the web. Laughable.

Uh…yeah…no worries there, right? Right?

And Trava-whatever, if you couldn’t figure out that the vibrator thing was a joke, then I suggest a camping trip with Emily, being on the same intellectual plane and all.

Nothing wrong with bragging about your kids accomplishments. Shows that you’re proud of them.

Congrats to your kids on the education front BTW.

Something unrelated to bras

I’ve been meaning to ask you this for a long time, and since this thread became about bras not fitting well, seems as an appropriate place as any to do it.

What is your avatar a picture of? I think I recognize it, but can’t place it ((if its in the file name i’ll kick myself in the face) Yes I can actually do that)

You must not have children or watch tv with them.
I’m 18. So take a guess which it is.

Headhuntaaaaaaaaaaaa…

I is a womans!

I got listless and ran off for awhile, spent most of the summer screaming down karaoke bars from here to Ireland. Screw American Idol I’m famous in motherfuckin Cork now. I’m back , back for the attack (sad Dokken reference) …

I adopted a small pikey Irish baby. I found him in an empty Guinness box when I went to reach for the last one. That is one lucky lad. At least with me the kid knows he’ll never run out of beer. I’m all for a secure future, and I’m looking into getting him his own horse. He will feel like a king riding around our low rent apartments! I can’t wait to let him know that if it weren’t for me, he’d never grow up with a nice set of teeth.

Here’s to the dogooders!

How do you lose a dress? I’ve done something similar and am still flummoxed. It’s not like you can go somewhere and realise later, ‘Oh, I forgot my dress’.

By selling out I mean, when I worked there, it was like bras were an afterthought for most of the women who came in, they were resigned to having uncomfortable department store bras, or they were willing to settle for anything close to their size… won’t work! The rationale was because it’s “just underwear.”

It shouldn’t be so, I mean we wear them as support of a sensitive body part, next to our skin, for the majority of the day. If women would be properly measured (which most are NOT) and given a good, varied selection of fits in their size they would never complain again. I could go on for hours. A bad vs. good bra can make the difference between a comfortable day and a totally irritating day, but most women pooh-pooh the importance of having a proper fit, because they’ve never had it.

I could go on for hours about this. As to your personal fit, the T-shirt bra was scaled down. There are a lot of other bras in 34D they carry though. I know they run close to $50 but it’s worth it. Go in and ask for the bra wardrobe in 34D. (Heck, I know I sound like a sales plug… I swear I don’t work there any more!)

That being said, I haven’t ever had a conquistador give personal support of that type. Not something widely available in our culture.

I have a hard time finding a good fit being a 34DD. As was once pointed out I currently only have the industrial not so pretty bras. That and I think the VS bras seem to run smaller than other bras. Is this so women can claim being a D if they are really a C?

so sorry for the hijack.
You buy industrial, I buy Mary Kate and Ashley children’s bras.

If I were to get conquistador’s, they’d send the prepubescent ones.

and it’s been over two years for you octobergirl (according to another thread forum). Someone please sweep her off her feet!
