More Women in Power?

Currently in Pissburgh, lived in FL for the past year and a half and have 3 family friends who live there

I am from Pittsburgh, lived in Franklin Park until I was 21, been in florida since 1986

Will never go back to live there, the only thing I miss about my hometown are the people and the fall season

everyone I talk to up there hates Wolff,

Wolff is also a hypocritical idiot but less crazy than desantis

I actually like pgh and love my school but cannot stand the weather (I prefer hot climates and hate rain)
It’s to an extent that I can’t wait to graduate just to avoid another winter

Of course, there’s always the possibility that my current school is the only one that accepts me for grad school or gives me a job. If that’s the case, I’d be very very miserable

I don’t think he is crazy, but to each their own

What is your school?

Crazy is a hyperbole. I actually think he knows EXACTLY what he’s doing and is doing a great job appealing to his voter base.

A small part of me is quite impressed, the other part is angry at this hipocracy and the damage it’s causing so I call him names

CMU.
It was a last minute application and turned out to be the only school that accepted me
If I had visited, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have applied

He is playing to his base, that’s what all politicians do…they take sides and usually not good for the state or the country

I will admit, being a libertarian…he is respecting my freedom of choices and less government rule

Carnegie not a good school?

Sorry to hear that

Oh! The school is amazing!!!

I just didn’t think I had a chance because it’s a “stem school” and I was definitely not into stem in HS
Since coming here, I’ve realized it’s the “perfect fit”

Scientist or engineering?

Technically “scientist”
I study behavioural Econ, Econ and psych(as of Thursday)
I plan to go into social psych or org behaviour research

It might just be me, but I definitely feel a bit outclassed because of my lack of quantitative interest

Is that studying people’s behaviors?

Yes more or less.

Well good luck with it

With everything going on in this world, you should be very busy
